We're sick :(

Nah...I don't mean sick as in 'ewwwwww that's SICK!' I mean, we're ill... we've both been feeling pretty crappy for a week or so, but it feels like it's getting worse instead of better.... I wouldn't be posting about it, but it's 5am, I can't sleep because my head is pounding and my tummy is churning...I have vicodin for my back, but I don't need them as much as I used to, so I broke down and took one of them a few hours ago, and THAT didn't even work!

Is this ####### going around? Anyone else been feeling rough lately?? Hope we get over it soon, so we can get all Christmassy! Hard to be in the mood when you're feelin' so icky!

That's awful!!! We've been lucky so far (knocking on wood!) but you must get better so you can have a feast for Christmas (probably not the best thing to say right now, sorry!).

Ugh, it reminds of *my* Christmas last year...I got food poisoning on Christmas Eve!!!

heh heh! Thanks guys...haven't actually *gotten* sick yet (yes, bad visual, I know!!!) but both of us feel like we need to all the time...Craig has had it even worse than I. He went to bed pretty early last night..hopefully he can sleep in today...he's normally up around 6:30. Thanks for the wishes...sittin here with the screen all dim cause it's too bright to look at it otherwise, half asleep! M.

I had a really bad cold/flu a month ago. I was down for a week and even missed a days work but thank God it never made my stomach sick. All aches, fever, cough and sneezing.

Our daughter has had the flu all week...thank god she's better, but now I'm sneezing like crazy and all congested (I have had the flu shot and the pneumonia shot too). Joel seems to be the only one - so far - that isn't sick. Thank god we've only got three days next week....then we're off school til January 8!!!!! woo woo woo!

Veronica was sick the week before last....She gave it to me and I started to get sick last Thursday.. Started as a sore throat left side...I get strep easily so started with the salt water and Listerine gargles..then it went to the right side..kept up the gargles.. then it left my throat and went to my chest with congestion.. I sqeaked like a school boy when I talked to Veronica on the cell last night..all she could do is laugh in between telling me things to do for it... I feel better today..less squeaking.. I'm not sure how i got it from her she is 8,000 miles away...but I know we are mentally connected but I never heard of catching something telepathic ..hhahahahahaha

Woke up Monday sinuses full and throat burning... served me right for being out in the cold putting up more lights the day before ..

by tuesday my head hurt everytime I moved.. Wed congestion finally broke.. but nose was like a nonstop faucet.. took 1/2 the week off from work.. hard to give a massageor Acupuncture.. if I am the one that is sick.. was a good girl.. cooked up my herbal formula that I usually give to my patients... a chinese formula called YinQiao.. tastes icky but works wonders. Now almost a week in.. and still sound like a foghorn.. but nose isnt runny hahahah

Charles.. I like your thoughts of the shots of tiquilla... .. a couple hot todies or. a good shot of scotch for me..

after I went home for a visit I came back with a nasty headcold and I'm not sure where I got it. I may have got it from a couple of people at work who had it and it was dormant a week or so, or I may have got it from a friend up home who was sick when I visited with her. Either way it was nasty and I couldn't breathe for a few days, but I still had to go to work because I'd just been away on vacation for 5 days! My nose is still runny and stuffy, but I can breathe now.

I'm fairly lucky that I very rarely get stomach bugs, its usually all in my head

same here MICHELLE and CRAIG I still have a flu its almost a week now... its hard to get sick and I don't like it who does anyway? . Getting better now though hopefully we all feel better CHRISTMAS is almost here! and bye bye with illnesses.

the baby and I both have BAD colds and my 10 year old just got over the stomach flu........hopefully we'll all be well by Christmas!!!!
