Will my co-sponsor's case be affected in any way?

Hello all, hope all is well goofy.gif

I am going to need a co-sponsor for my petition since I am currently a student and have no income. My co-sponsor is my mother's cousin who will also be petitioning for his fiance as well (in about 2-3 months). My question is, if he is a co-sponsor for my fiance, will it affect his fiance's petition in any way? His income meets what is required by USCIS. We're just wondering if he will be able to be a co-sponsor for my fiance and also be able to petition for his fiance without encountering any problems.

Long as he makes enough for his household # plus your finacee' its fine.

It's not about how many they sponsor. Its about do they make the guideline or above. I know someone who sponsored 21 members of their family. They made enough so no issue.

Right, all that really matters is if their income is enough to factor in their own household plus the intending immigrants they are sponsoring.

02/14/2014 - Case shipped to Embassy, where it waited for over a year at my request                                 11/07/2015 - AOS approved (EAD and AP had already been approved) - there was no interview

05/21/2015 - Interview - Approved

I think you should look at it on a time and timing standpoint.

The I-134 is in effect the duration of the I-94 (usually 90 days after arrival) and is not legally enforceable.

So, who's coming first? who's coming 2nd? where's the overlap in time?

Figure that part out, first, before getting too worried about this stuff.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
