NO, only the dirty Santa gift, I am so glad since our family is bigger, and not everyone gets together for thanksgiving to draw names, we now play dirty santa. That is the only gift I have bought so, think my wife will dissappointed if I don't her a gift. Probably, the daughter says"just give me money and lots of it"

I thouth they got thier gift yesterday, with the reception of thier PR cards. wonder if they feel that way? Any how I better get soem shopping done today or tomorrow, maybe Monday.

A first for me :)

My hubby hasn't bought me my gift yet and it doesn't look to promising :P ... I found out yesterday that he didn't even realize that Christmas was about a week away :o

I wish I could just take this year off from Christmas - the shopping part. I'm in a total financial pinch (I'm going to be taking on a second job after the new year) and I've grown cynical of the buying part of it. The other day I was in Costco and a lady was on her cell phone while looking over the video game section - asking the person on the other phone what games he doesn't have. I've seen parents actually have their kids with them while Christmas shopping - one mother telling her child that she'll have to wait until Christmas to have the toy she just bought for her.

It just seems like madness. We adhere to part of the tradition (buying), while the other aspects of it have been completely thrown out the window. Call me an idealist, but if someone gets me a gift, I'd want it to be a surprise and I would hope they spent more effort in thinking about what kind of gift than just asking me.

My daughter just asked me last night if I could just give her cash for Christmas...ugh! Why even bother with Christmas?...let's just give each other money and be done with it. :(

Mom and I shopped for 8 hrs yesterday and then I was up half the night wrapping..of course, didn't start as soon as I got home..had to wait for the guys to go to bed! I have a few more things to get... a couple online, exhange a cd for Corey that I didn't know he had (luckily, Craig knew!!!) and get a couple gift certs. Was fun, but glad it's almost done!! :) M.
