Yes, I called DOS this morning and finally got my case number.

Our NOA2 was October 3rd. I called NVC today and talked to a very nice lady. They have received our case on October 7th but no case number yet. She said it could take 10-20 business days. I can't believe it takes that long to assign a case number.

Call them on Monday/Tuesday. You should get your case number next week. It is taking them about a week to give out the case number.

Mine was also Oct 3. I called NVC on Nov 6 at 5pm EST and they said they got it but not in the system yet. I called Nov 7 at 9am and I got my case number. Try calling them tonight or Monday.

I see that your notice date is Oct. 24 and from TSC . Ours is Oct. 23. I just got an update from USCIS last night that they sent our approve case to DOS on Nov. 8 2013. Did you receive a notification from USCIS yet of the update?
