Yay!! Our case is now IN TRANSIT and en rout to the embassy! Woo Hoooo!!!

I just wanted to confirm that to track the case via DHL you do the following:

  1. go to www.dhl.com
  2. Click on "more tracking options" under the box to enter tracking #'s
  3. Click on "TRACK BY SHIPPER'S REFERENCE" located on the left side colum
  4. Enter the date it left the NVC as, for example mine left Oct 28, 2013 so it's entered as ---> EXP 28 OCT 2013A <--- with spaces and everything
  5. Select date range
  6. Select Country
  7. Click on Track

Is that it?! Our case was literally JUST listed as in transit so nothing is pulling up on the DHL site as of yet. Just wanted to be sure I wasn't missing anything or needing to call NVC and wait on the dreaded hold line foreverrrrrrrrrr again. ;-)

Thanks for any help!

You actually use the day before it was shipped, so, in your case, on Friday, the 25th. Looks like your waybill number is 8792341051 and you can see it here: http://www.dhl.com/content/g0/en/express/tracking/shippers_reference.shtml?shipperReference=EXP+25+OCT+2013A&fromDayValue=20&fromMonthValue=10&fromYearValue=2013&toDayValue=28&toMonthValue=10&toYearValue=2013&accountNumber=&countryCodeIndex=92&countryCode=ht

Remember, there's no guarantee YOUR case is in there, but chances are good.

Yup, it's true. I've got this message on CEAC:

Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center.

But I don't make a call yet to embassy to get know about my case. I am just following what some Vjers from Indonesia are doing for their K-1 visas and waiting a few weeks more before started calling embassy to find out.

You don't have to worry about that because it will take about a week to get there. Now you need to work on all of the forms, get everything ready. It will take about 20 to 25 days to get package 3 because haiti embassy sends package through USPS. That's why it takes longer. I believes It's a way of ship transportation. If I was you, I will worry about your form. You have to make sure that you get all of your document ready because it's difficult to get all of this done about 2 weeks.

I'm not even sure these people at the embassy call center in haiti knows the info they be telling people , that lady I spoke to yesterday told me it takes a month for them to get the package , nvc and most people say 1-2 weeks smh....and their customer service rate is bellow zero........
