So I already got an nao1 already from them two weeks ago...what is this then?

We noticed my wife's alien number above her name when we received the Form I-797 (NOA2) visa petition approval notice.

When do I recieve that alien number?

My alien number is above my name on NOA-2 hardcopy that mailed to my fiance (the petitioner). USCIS did not put it on the website.

I think I figured out what this is. (correct me if I'm wrong)

Last week I called USCIS because there was a typo on their form. They typed her last name without the hyphen and I very politely mind you, informed them that all of the forms I sent in had the hyphen, and that I would like their topographical error changed pleased since I'd need it later for NAO2. They said they'd fix it immediately and put in a ticket for it and told me I should hear back in no later than 15 days.

Maybe this was their text confirming they checked the file again? ah well, at least it's progress
