My fiance and I are working on our visa she is from Turkmenistan. In a few days I will send out the i-129f. She is mentioning to me that for this process she needs a debit/credit card. I haven't read anything about this. Perhaps someone can explain this? Next question is for the i-134 from my most recent paystub my gross is $16,248.92. With my new pay raise getting the 125% I don't believe will be a problem. But when I send this form out how much I am guessing it will be sometime in the early summer to late summer when I am required to submit this form. I am guessing I would use last YTD numbers?

Thanks.

Did you ask her, why she needs debit/credit card? For this stage, the petitioner paid for the fee not the beneficiary. Answer your question, no one can guess how long the process will take, some people are quick and some others take longer. Just pray you could be a few lucky fellow VJers here that get speedy approval. Affidavit support or I-134 form she will needed for her interview at embassy. Good luck.

She does not need a debit card/ credit card. You can't even pay USCIS with a card. She may be confusing when others get joint bank accounts, but that is not necessary for the K1 process.

You have to send out the forms all at the same time. If that is what you are asking. or if you are asking what you should put as your income, you would put your current income which you can back up with a letter from your employer verifying how much you currently make, but still include paystubs, and tax transcripts ( from the past 3 years). I hope that's what the second part of your question was asking.

Sorry on my delayed response I just got back from Istanbul. I asked her about the credit/debit card and she said she would looked more into it but she said it was required by the Russian Federation and it was for form DS-156 or DS-156K. She wasn't sure. I appreciate the responses.

You need a good advice from VJers in Russian sub-forum.

Those forms are for the interview, not for the initial petition submission.

And when the time comes for the interview, you can assit in paying for the interview and medical but not now.

Did you two agree that you would pay for those costs, when they are valid?

There is no special credit/debit card requirement for a Russian fiancees as far as I know no0pb.gif The interview fee is usually paid with a credit/debit card, but you can do it yourself, they do not pay any attention to the cardholder's name.
