Literally JUST got an email update from USCIS. Two days ago, they shipped our petition to NVC. What is with their servers recently? They're so delayed o.o like Amber's approval isn't even on there.

I think many case centers wait to ship applications to NVC until they have enough of them. Since your case was in NSC and I got approved there last Friday, they probably shipped my application to NVC in the same box on the 15th.

Wait! I haven't received any email updates? Well, I assume it's being delayed just like recent approvals. LOL!

There must be something weird going on! Someone else just posted an approval and said they didn't get the email/case update online too. Hmmm!

Hi! my status never changed, my last update said "On March 21, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN". And NVC received it on March 31rst... No more updates on the USCIS website  .

Don't worry, call NVC to know if your case arrived. You'll get a case number around a month after the received date. Good luck! :)

Hey guys, NVC received my aproval package.

So what documents do I need to prepare so once they asked I will be ready to send??

I recommend you to read Saylin's Wiki "NVC Process" it explains everything :) :

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Process

And you could join the April NVC thread:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/488577-nvc-filers-april-2014/

But basically, the petitioner has to fill form I-864 (affidavit of support), and have his/her most recent tax transcript/return (2013), (2012 and 2011 are advised as well but not mandatory).

Beneficiary documents (must be originals or certified copies): Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate, police certificate, passport photos, passport copy... And you are advised to translate the documents if they are not in English :)

The Wiki can be very overwhelming at first, but be sure to read it several times! And feel free to ask questions, that's what VJ is for :P:D Oh well, for that and also for giving (and getting) moral support B-):jest:;)

omg omg omg

You guys please tell me do the NVC documents need to be sent by me or my husband in Iraq?

Cuz I don't have them with me.

Doesn't matter who sends them, as long as NVC receives them. If you send them from abroad, it is advisable to use Fedex or DHL because they are more reliable.

Just as I told USCIS2013:

I recommend you to read Saylin's Wiki "NVC Process" it explains everything :) :
