Passport Tracking after approval

My fiancee's passport did the same thing. It was stuck on AP on the CEAC tracking until after the interview, then changed to "ready" for a couple of days and then back to AP for a few more days and then finally changed to issued.

The traveldocs site never really changed, it was on status unavailable for weeks after the interview, but when I called the number it'd always say still with post. It changed to "processing for delivery" or something like that for weeks, and then it changed to "ready for pickup" a day after she picked it up and then finally "passport picked up" like 2 days after that, lol. It's a huge mess...

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

when you see that status, the visa packet is at the CITIC BANK LOCATION you selected for drop off. Go in, see what's what, nowish, aye? At least, when it's open.

The email tracking thing just randomly stopped working about a week after the interview. Never worked again for us, lol.

well, one less thing for me, I think so - I know visa packet generation takes some time, as there is a queue and it's always done after interview/issued date.

OK a bit of update (checking just now)

ustraveldocs, in chinese - 你的护照可随时领取 - [googgle xlate Ready to receive your passport]

ustraveldocs, in English - Your passport is ready for pickup.

I talked with my wife overnight, suggesting that she should go in monday and tuesday, have a look.

I understand 'Ready for Pickup' means it's at the CITIC Bank office, she can pick up there now. wink.png

More info later...

ya, it was picked up friday. I've a feeling that the Bank Courier fellas really never close, working 7 days a week, irrespective of USA holidays. Still, we're at the end, finally. I'm not relaxing until she has it in her hands.
