Hey Fellas ! Time for more fun !! Maybe even Games !!!

Stuff I know, from the consulate website and talking with ustraveldocs helpdesk human:

1. Consulate was open, doing stuff, on Sept 28,29 and 30. Shut Oct 1,2,3, re-opened on the 4th.

2. Courier, CITIC Bank Courier, shut 1-7 October for National Holiday

3. ustraveldocs shut Oct 1,2,3 for national holiday

so - with that as the backgrounder - please post the first date you 'saw anything' up at :

1. ceac.state.gov and

2. http://ustraveldocs.com/cn/cn-main-contactus.asp [in the track yer passport section]

here's my dates:

ceac ISSUED on 28 SEP 2013

traveldocs 'passport still with post' as of 26 SEP 2013 (First time it every showed any status, and no status change since)

---

Whatcha got ?

Interview on the 10th (october) - Approved

CEAC updated on the 10th - "Administrative Processing"

My wife was told her visa would be ready to pick up at CITIC bank in less than 2 weeks gauranteed.

***EDIT*** I just read this in the fine print on CEAC under my case status, "If your visa application is approved, it will be processed and mailed or available within two business days." Sounds like it wont take long for it to show up at CITIC bank in Guangzhou.

weird - CEAC last updated date 11 OCT 2013, checked it just now. I swear, I am OCD on this stuff, checking each hour that I am awake. Still showing ISSUED so that's a plus wink.png so (i get to pick one)

this new 'last updated date' is indicative of:

1. visa packet finally generated or

2. visa packet sent to the mailroom or

3. some IV staff is answering my last email from last week

28 SEP, from AP to ISSUED

30 SEP, ISSUED

11 OCT, ISSUED .

I really hope the visa packet has been generated by now, and is sitting in the mailroom for an afternoon courier pickup wink.png
