The form is for them to have access over your case file. If you don't fill it out, the congressman's caseworker will not be able to make follow-ups regarding your case with USCIS, NVC or the embassy/consulate.

They can only ask for updates regarding your husband's AP. I doubt if they can speed it up. Good luck.

4 months AP is just normal . APs are normally between 3 to 12 months long specially male and the country you from . they say 6 to 9 months you should get worried and call DOS pass 9 months is where you start thinking about Cong man/woman and visit their office after 12th month . you are rushing things and will not get anything unless they finish their work .

the form you reference should have been talked about, a bit more, by the human at that Congressman's office.

It allows an immigration liason staffer human to inquire on your behalf, as the stuff really is private.

So, find that congressman's website, find the form, find the fax # , fill it out, fax it in (NOW) and then call in tuesday morning,

asking for the name of the Immigration Liason Staffer Human,

then

tell the Immigration Liason Staffer you've faxed in the privacy release form.

Go Get Em, and Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
