eh - I brought this up, maybe 2 weeks ago, when he was blethering on about what to do now that he's mostly retired.

Working at a 911 call center gets him out of the house, and since he has prior experience in Law Enforcement, it'd be a good match for the call center.

Plus, he'd get to help people in a positive way.

A Win, all the way round, but ..... I'm betting he not even fill out an application.

You live in some sh!tty place, man. I called 911 a few times for medical emergencies for my daughter over the years. Help was here - a Sheriff deputy included - within 2-3 minutes every time. You should consider a move.
