Not necessary most do not send that, the guides here, and also the instructions with form I-129F do not specify them.

You may have been reading about RFE for petitioner's birth certificate, or proof of us citizenship.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

I was just browsing and saw few couples got RFE cuz they didnt send the beneficiary's birth certificate and I dont think we included mine when we sent it, smells like RFE for us?

Yeah, im worried about the same thing. We sent off our I-129 packet with only my birth certifiate (petitioner) and not my beneficiary's birth-certificate. It didn't ask for it! I'm worried now that we will get an RFE. Fingers crossed that we don't.

We just got our NOA2 and we didn't send my BC (I'm the beneficiary). One of the couple that got an RFE for that was because they sent the beneficiary's BC in the first place(needed to be translated).

Good luck.

N02--waiting...

It is not requested by USCIS. I did not send my Fiancee's birth certificate and no RFE was issued for it. If you do submit the birth certificate, it better be translated correctly. Or you may just be creating a reason for an RFE!

As we have discussed before, sometimes USCIS will issue an RFE for the beneficiaries BC even though technically it's not required with the I-129f. Also, it's a good idea to get it at this time anyway as you need to make sure you have the name exactly right on the docs and it matches the BC. We've seen lots of problems with mispelled names, corrections, etc. It's better to get the name straight right from the get-go.

We sent my fiance's birth certificate and passport with our I-129F application. I figured it wouldn't hurt.

My fiance's father is not on his birth certificate so on the G-325A forms where they asked him for his father's name/address we wrote UNKNOWN. Therefore, sending his BC (without his father's name) was more of a proof for that - for a reason to write UNKNOWN.

We had his BC professionally translated and sent the signed/notarized translation on with a copy of his BC in Portuguese. We did not receive an RFE.

Send it! We have had members get RFE for beneficiary's BC. It certainly can't hurt and who knows it may help you avoid an RFE. Why take the chance? The guides here are misguided in regards to that IMHO.

We didn't include my fiance's birth certificate, and did not get an RFE. A few people have gotten RFE'd requesting a copy of the birth certificate for the benificiary. If you were about to file and had a copy, you could consider including it. If you already filed, don't sweat it, you will likely be just fine.

Good luck on your journey!
