I'm the beneficiary, wife of USC.
12/30/2012: Got engaged.
1/16/2013: Got married in India.

I-130:
2/28/2013: Attorney mailed the I-130 from a U.S. address.
3/4/2013: Priority date, NOA1.
11/6/2013: Case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

1/6/2014: 60 days of transfer are up, put in an e-request, given 30 days' time. Contacted the senator. Senator asked to wait till Feb 6 and if nothing then she will do something.
2/5/2014: Website status changed to RFE.
2/10/2014: Attorney gets RFE. They need G325A and photos of both me and husband, original marriage certificate, copy of marriage record and it's translation.
2/15/2014: Mailed the requisite documents to husband.
2/19/2014: Documents received by husband.
2/24/2014: RFE mailed.
2/26/2014: Case status changed to RFE review.
3/6/2014: After 367 days, NOA2.

After approval kept calling NVC but NVC always had one reply, file was not in their system. Husband too called USCIS National Customer Service Center and was told case was sent to NVC.
4/2/2014: Write to NSCFollowup to know about the status of the petition.
4/10/2014: Put in a ?service request with USCIS starting with OVP to locate case.
4/16/2014: Reply from NSCFollowup that the U.S. law prohibited that office from responding to anyone other than the petitioner and to have the petitioner contact them.
4/18/2014: Sent email to NVC Research to locate the case.
4/22/2014: Petitioner sent email to NSCFollowup
5/14/2014: Receive email from NVC Research that they do not have a record of receiving the petition.
5/16/2014: Congressman's immigration caseworker contacted supervisor at NSC who said the petition is pending and will be dispatched in two weeks.
5/27/2014: Petitioner received response from NSCFollowup that the case was pending an internal extended review. Really?
6/19/2014: USCIS case status change, "On June 19, 2014, we shipped this case..."
7/1/2014: Case received at NVC.
7/14/2014: NVC case number assigned.
8/1/2014: AOS and IV fees invoiced.
8/2/2014: AOS and IV fees paid.
8/5/2014: AOS and IV fees status changed to paid.
8/6/2014: AOS and IV packages mailed, completed and submitted DS-260.
8/7/2014: AOS and IV packages delivered to NVC.
8/8/2014: AOS and IV packages put into the system (scanned).
9/20/2014: Get the 60-day email.
9/30/2014: Case Complete!
10/3/2014: Interview scheduled for November 7.
10/20/2014: Medical appointment.

11/07/2014: Interview.

Finally after exactly an year and two days, we have been approved. Many thanks for the prayers, hopes and help.

Congrats!

I-130 for both parents

March 28th 2013 - Priority date/ NOA 1
November 14th 2013 - Transferred to Nebraska Service Center

January 7th 2014 - Case changed online to approved for both

January 8th 2014 - case changed to shipped to NVC

January 9th 2014 - case changed to NOA 2 mailed

January 10th 2014 - Received the hardcopy of the NOA 2 stating that NVC would issue a case number in 30 days approx.

January 21st 2014 - Case Received at NVC

February 26th 2014 - Case numbers and IIN number received - Wrong embassy code assigned...now waiting for new case numbers.

March 3rd 2014 - Filled in DS-261 for both parents

March 5th 2014- AOS available, paid and submitted AOS packet.

March 6th 2014 - USPS shows packet was delivered at NVC

March 10th 2014 - AOS shows as paid in the CEAC portal/AOS logged into system as being received by NVC.

March 11th 2014 - New case number assigned for my Dad.

March 20th 2014 - Paid IV fee for my Mum.

March 25th 2014 - AOS accepted by NVC with no checklist.

March 26th 2014 - Filled in and submitted DS-260 for my Mum

March 31st 2014 - AOS found in my Mum's file for my Dad - accepted and placed into his file/IV fee available for my Dad and Paid.

April 1st - Mailed all civil documents to NVC for both parents.

April 3rd: IV fee shows as paid in portal/submitted DS-260 for my Dad.

April 22nd: checklist issued for civil documents - NVC error ...

April 23rd: sent another certified copy of my marriage certificate

April 24th: Case complete! :)

April 30th 2014 - Medical scheduled for parents at Knightsbridge in London

June 11th: Interview at London Embassy - Approved :)

yay....so happy for you dancin5hr.gif Now keep on bugging TSC to mail your case to NVC b/c they are the SLOWEST ones to do this. It takes them forever to mail the case; they almost made me think that they may be walking the case files from Texas to New Hampshire.

its been almost 1 year and our i-130 has still not been approved =(


2007-08-11 starting dating

2009-12-01 had our son

2011-10-02 married

2012-09-25 had our daughter


2013-03-15 appointment with lawyer sent our i-130

2013-03-20 received NOA with priority date 2013-03-19


2013-11-06 received letter case transferred to Nebraska

2014-04-07 1-130 APPROVED

Just wondering if any one from march 2013 filers are getting any case compltes s yet our case is real close we have already submitted our i864 and are waiting for the next step we have got everything finished accept waiting to see if they accept our i864 and to see if we need additional info is there a link to follow march filers at the Nvc level for cr1 thanks n god bless all of us

The nightmare isn't over yet. Although the case has been approved 4 days back, it has not been sent to the NVC yet. I am presuming this because when they send my case the USCIS website status should change to "On so-and-so date we shipped your case to NVC." Can somebody tell me whether everyone's status changes when they ship the case or may not necessarily change.

ROFL about them walking the case. Thank you Peace500, I did come across someone from TSC whose case was transferred after one month of approval, but my case is at Nebraska. It has been 4 days and they didn't transfer my case. After waiting more than an year for just the approval, I simply don't want any more delays. I think it'd be good idea to bug NSC, but how to do it apart from e-mailing them? Maybe I should call them.

Hello! I'm new here and I'm not sure how this works yet. I have a pending I-130 and it has not been approved yet and I do not get any answers. :-( can anyone please tell me how I can contact the senator. Thank you!

I'm a March filer and we aren't near case complete yet. We just submitted the I-864 last week and are waiting for the IV part to be invoiced.

Hello megan26 my case is from March 22, 2013 and I have also only received a transfer letter to Nebrasca Service Center and nothing else :-( I see a lot of people here that are very advanced in their petition but I keep calling and I get no answers. Are you having the same problem?

Congrats, I visited just to see your approval and glad to see it. FYI, it took me 2 weeks to see the "on ... we shipped your case to ...". It may be stated as NVC or DOS, does not matter.
