So my fiance is only 6 weeks pregnant and I just sent my i129f packet. I have a question. Will she be able to get her vaccine shots before interview while she is pregnant? Im worried now.

that my friend is best answered by contacting a panel physician directly in the country of question for the most accurate answer .. they are usually easily emailed.. links are available at the embassy site or via the state department site.

There's nothing to worry about. Your fiancée will get the vaccinations she needs for her immigration process during her medical at St. Lukes. The cost of the vaccinations are included in the price of the medical. St. Lukes will not give her any vaccinations which are contraindicated for pregnancy.

If, for some reason, she decided to get her vaccinations before her medical, her doctor would not give her any vaccinations which are contraindicated for pregnancy.

Pop over to the Philippine forum, should be a few Filipinas to assist with that question.

I have read of a fair number of Filipinas completing their medical and getting their vaccinations while pregnant without issues.

newsflash: read the fine print,,,your fiancee doesnt need to get vaccinated to come to the USA,,she DOES need the vaccinations before getting green card,,she can waive the vaccinations and get them here

I have impregnated my share of Pinay,,,and never got them vaccinated

I was 7 months pregnant when i came here in the USA, During my medical at st luke i was 6 months pregnant, you are a priority, easy in the line etc. in the vaccine they will not give u anything. Fast and easy :) that was year 2009

April 22, 2013 - Receive the NOA1

July 29, 2013 - Approved NOA2 ( 82 working days)

July 30, 2013 - USCIS shipped my documents to NVC

Aug 5, 2013 - Arrived at NVC Building

Aug 13, 2013 - Got the NVC case # via PHONE

Aug 14, 2013 - Got the Invoice # via PHONE

Aug 15, 2013 - Send my DS-3032 via Email

Aug 16, 2013 - AOS Pay

Aug 17, 2013 - Got an email to print the COVER SHEET

Aug 21, 2013 - send the AOS overnight at NVC

Aug 28, 2013 - Accept the DS-3032

Aug 30, 2013 - IV BILL pay and Documents Sent to NVC receive the checklist AOS.

by the time the medical exam rolls around,

there will be some shots she won't be given due to the pregnancy.

and that's ok.

she'll still need them once in the usa, the K-1 visa chasing process doesn't stop due to pregnancy, or subsequent birth.
