The card always come from Missouri, NBC. It's the field office which interests us, not always your local one, but thanks any way.

And most times we'll never know unless a well timed SR is answered with the info or you push hard with Tier 2 like I did for our case...

OK there are a lot of posts to wade through here...so I'm just gonna ask this:

I received this waiver letter today and I'm just wondering does this only apply for GC? (and not the combo card?)

Cause we received an RFE before (they've received my response on Feb 3rd) so I still haven't gotten my combo card (I'm aware that I'll have to wait 75 days for this that's why I haven't been calling them inquiring about my combo cards production yet)

And today, I receive this letter.

Will I be waiting for my combo card TOGETHER with my GC for approx. 6 months as well??

Cause that'll be...ridiculous! I need to get a job, and a driver's license....

Hey everyone - update! You may remember we received a REF for our vaccination record? Well we sent in another copy - with a cover letter stating this was the second copy that we were sending in and if they required anything else to help resolve our application, to get in touch.

Well today ... we received an email that our card was (finally!) in production. 11 months on! YEY!

FYI: Application acceptance was 04/02/14, Interview Waiver 07/10/14, Decision made in the Los Angeles, CA office (although our local office is Baltimore)

Good luck everyone still waiting - I hope we now see a flood of card productions!

I wish you'd posted this this morning! I'm in the same boat - end of a March filer, 7/10 NPIW, request for page five. I got the letter Friday night, and saw the civil surgeon this morning. Just wanted to get it sorted, without wasting time. Guess I wasted my money instead, and have a sore arm from extra shots.

Of course, with USCIS logic - I'm from LA, but my case is in Washington lol

I'm making the necessary changes to my wife's I-765 to renew her EAD. On question 11, what USCIS office do we put? Is it the office that sent the I-797 for her EAD? or the local USCIS office that we visited for her fingerprints?

Thank thank you thank you so much!

I mean I'm still disappointed because that means I won't be getting my GC anytime soon, but at least I can work while waiting for it!

Hopefully things will start picking up again!

AliaAlia, re-posting one of my recent entries for your information. I hope this is of use to you:

Here's a very short summary of what we know about this process so far. Your I-485 case will now be stored at the National Benefits Center (NBC) in Lees Summit. MO. After about a year of waiting (from your initial filing date) your case will depart the NBC and head to a local office to be adjudicated. The papers won't go to your local office but to a local office that has capacity to process it at that time e.g. a Floridian NPIW case could very well be processed in Los Angeles local office. One or two people have been asked to renew their medical (at their own cost) but most seem to be adjudicated without a new one. The longest waiting people in this thread have recently sent EAD/AP renewals which you can do 120 days before the EAD expires. Service requests and enquiries usually end up with no reply or a reply of just wait. The published field office timescales do not include your case and there is no point looking at them.

Good luck.

Just received a letter of PIW 4 days after it it was received. The waiver letter stated that they were backlogged and we should expect a 6 month delay due to case backlog; 'don't bother to call us for the next 180 days'. So it looks like September 2015, very smooth sailing after Sept 2014 POE. :star:
