I was supposed to hear something by the 11th, this was one of those random ones that got assigned then randomly unassigned.. no idea whats going on with them

What if you do an InfoPass? Does that help at all? I filed my first service request yesterday and I'm a fellow July 10th NPIW. They said I should receive a response to the service request by February 4th, but after reading the posts here, I'm not holding my breath. Hopefully we'll get the greencard by that time anyways!

So happy to see some progress for July recipients! Hoping for the best! Godspeed!

They're likely referring to the scaremongering statement from the USCIS union last year. It simply referred to the plan to expand eligibility for interview waiver cases. I highly doubt there's any way

july 10th npiw case got two emails today first one saying that my application was aproved and the card has been mailed and should arrive within 30 days and the status changed on the website, 5 hours later i got another email saying the welcome notice has been mailed and and card will be produced and should arrive in 60 days and status changed to this on the website too , dunno whats goin on but its still good news

i did a service request on 10/09/2004 and got a reply 3 months later in jan that my file was sent to newwark field office on 8th of decmber , and after one month it the card got mailed . so i suggest u guys try to get a service request in it helps

Congratulations! My NPIW date is July 10 as well. Put the service request on Jan 11th. This time it was assigned in 2 days, Jan 12th and completed and sent just yesterday. I'm now waiting for their mail. Hope to get the good explanation. Will update you guys soon!

If your case is unassigned (probably at NBC) or it's gone to field office far flung from your home, the information you get from an InfoPass at your local field office will probably be no better than you would get from a call to Tier 2. I would call Tier 2 first and directly ask them the location of your file first before scheduling the InfoPass and if it is at a location close enough to you, I would then go to them...

I've never ever spoken to a tier 2, I can never get past tier 1, I literally get told theres no tier 2 officers available..

The Tier 1workers mean well but are not privy to much info. Push the issue and tell them you need to talk to Tier 2...be prepared to wait for 90+ minutes to get to talk with someone...there is a call back function so you don't have to keep your ear to the phone that long...

Tier 1 reps only tell you what you can already she online. I've had Tier 1 reps read off word for word what my case status says online. Tell them you are concerned and need to know where your file is and almost demand to speak with immigration officer. If you still have pushback tell them nothing against you but please let me talk to your supervisor. You do have to wait on hold for hours, but you can schedule a call back as soon as an officer becomes available. The longest I've waited for a call back has been 3 hours.

If you really want to talk to tier 2 tell tier 1 that you were just on a call with tier 2 and the line got disconnected they will put you right through to tier 2.

Ill be honest tier 2 is no better than 1 They will give you the same useless info tier 1 will.

I have stopped trying to call them it seems that our best bet is to wait and wait and wait. :clock::clock::clock:

We filed in April 2014 for the AoS, got EAD and travel card in July along with a letter about an interview waiver. Still waiting, no update. Hopefully soon!

Thanks. It was assigned and then unassigned. My husbands medical expires feb 4th. Trying to get some type of response before then
