SEE FOR YOURSELF AFTER 4 MONTH OF WAITING FOR VERMOUNT SEVICES WHAT I GOT ... AND I ASSUMED A LOT OF CASES LIKE MINE.... IN REALITY IS NOT HELP TO ME ...

On September 4, 2013, we transferred your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E), to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

During this step, USCIS initiates the background checks of the applicant/petitioner and identifies issues that may need to be addressed either during an interview or by asking the applicant/petitioner to submit additional information or documentation. USCIS reviews the applicant's/petitioner's criminal history, determines if there are national security concerns that need to be addressed, and reviews the application/petition for fraud indicators.

NOW YOU TELL ME HOW GOOD IS THIS ONE FOR THE K-1 VISA ... MY FRIKING LUCK !!!!!

Vermont has tons of petitions to work on at the moment. And I'm assuming yours got transferred to Texas.

A lot of petitions recently transferred to Texas got worked on really fast and some even have their NOA2's already. Maybe it is a good thing? I'm hoping it is. Its better that they transferred it to another facility that can work on it immediately instead of it getting buried under other petitions in Vermont. Sucks though that you had to wait 4 months just to get transferred. I feel for ya.

I don't get your frustration, depending on where you live they will either send it to Vermont or California. After that it goes to the Visa Center who then forwards it to the appropriate counsalate or embassy.

The VSC is no longer processing I-129F applications, and all the cases are getting transferred to the TSC. The TSC is processing and adjudicating cases within the 5 month time-frame, however it is taking longer for NVC to receive approved cases from ALL Service Centers. Your transfer is not necessarily a bad thing.

Good Luck!
