NVC Expedite Process - NVC case number required?

I just called NVC and operator told me that my case was received yesterday. She said an NVC case number is not yet assigned.

When I asked her about NVC expedite process, she asked me to send an email to NVCInquiry@state.gov with PI Supervisor Su followed by USCIS case number in the subject line. Furthermore, she asked to write names and DOBs. She said I don't to wait for NVC case number to be assigned.

Does someone please confirm that? From reading here, my understanding was that an NVC case number was a requirement for the expedite process.

I would do what she says but still keep calling for an NVC number. To get your NVC number they need your USCIS number, both parties names and DOBs anyhow. They can match you up with your case that way.

I suggest that NVC isn't ready to even try to expedite for you,

until

the DS-3032 'kit' is received by you, via email in to your email inbox.

[kit consists of a non-fillable outdated DS-3032, some other instructions, an AOS Fee Bill, and may come across in seperate emails same day]

so - if you want the kit to arrive quickly - call NVC once a day (evenings are better, IMO) and the first time the NVC TeleOperator starts to ask for the two email addresses - you just flipped the switch to ON.

If my expedite request isn't approved by the time DS-3032 is generated, I can send another email to expedite.

I just called and received the NVC case number, BII, and IIN numbers. Should I send the expedite email again now? They already had my email in file. What can I do with these numbers?

I just received an email from NVCexpedite asking me to provide two foreign telephone numbers for the applicant in order to process the expedite request. I didn't even send the second email.
