I've been approved and waiting for my A number for the last 3 years and the chart says I have another 2 to go at least. I met my boyfriend 2 years ago and he lives in the United States and we want to get married but I'm concerned that because I've already filed if I was to file for a K-1 they'll see it as a short cut so to speak to get my status quicker and we don't want to have to jump through hoops to get it.. Any advice would be great!

Approved for what petition? Can u fill us in?

Also is your boyfriend a US Citizen?
