Wow! After 8 months my fiancés visa was approved today! She is in Manila this week and besides all the normal stress she had to deal with all the flooding that is going in there! The embassy cancelled a bunch of appointments today because of that and she just managed to 'squeak' in! Thank you God!! We filed back in Dec 2012 so today is just a incredible day!! It has tried my patience to the 'max' but it really went by fast after we got the NVC case #. Now one more wait, the actual visa! Hopefully she'll get it in a week or so and I can get her airline ticket purchased! Whew!!! Didn't think I'd ever get to this point!! Hang in there everyone still waiting, it will happen for you. You just have to have lots of patience and trust in God! idea9dv.gif

Hmmmm! You are sure your note confusing the Noa1 to Noa2 time period to our Noa1 to embassy interview approval?? 8 months from getting your Noa1 to Noa2 to NVC to embassy w/interview approval is excellent in what I've seen everyone else go through. I've never seen anyone do all of that in 3 months except for expedite cases.

Congrats!! Yup things are moving again at USEM now that the waters have subsided... ;)

Did your fiancee complete CFO early or is she doing CFO after she gets her visa?

And don't forget about the Travel Tax which can be paid at NAIA.

My fiancé took the CFO seminar right after her interview so she is officially done with everything thank God!!! She has to leave back to her hometown tomorrow so we weren't sure if she would be able to get the similar in or not. Worst case, I was going to book a extra day in Manila before she leaves for US to get the class in but now that is not needed. Everyone out there that might be wondering, you MUST take the CFO seminar to leave the country, mandatory, period! Good luck to everyone!
