I never had NVC letter. But the case number is real important. Had my medical without NVC letter but I used the letter from the NVC saying I can set an interview appointment.

Do you have your case number already?

If so, then I think you can pay for your visa and schedule your interview.

As I've read from the forums,you'll need the appointment letter from USEM and a copy of your NOA2 for the medical exam.

As long as you know your case number you can inquire and email the embassy. On my case I never had NVC letter but I know my case number and I began emailing the embassy. They will definitely snail mail you but it could take time.

Did you email NVC requesting the MNL # or just call them? You could email them to request the MNL # (yes I know you have it) the reply email from NVC will provided the information to make SLEC happy also.

Did you schedule your interview with USEM? Did you get the letter from USEM confirming the interview?

SLEC has been more adamant about having either the NVC letter or USEM interview confirmation letter, either one as long as it has the MNL # on it. They had updated their website stating this but it had typo so they pulled the new page down replacing it with the old page again... still haven't seen them posted the updated info again.

I called the NVC and got my number, i waited about 10 days..Also, having a hard time entering

the receipt number to schedule the interview...has anybody heard anything about shutting

down interviews based on the flooding going on in Manila. I guess the are rescheduling

those interviews.

So as long as i have an NVC letter or the Appointement Confirmation email then im good to go for medical. is that right?

NVC letter or email, embassy interview confirmation letter or email ... either of those is what was listed on the SLEC website.

Funning thing is that I got a paper copy from NVC before I got the email. So you never know which will come first. Either one will work for CFO and SLEC.
