Which seemed strange to me, because every bit of the marital evidence we supplied had my name on it and could also be accused of marital fraud. Outcome would have been different as my wife's stupid IO wanted proof of bills paid at the time of her interview. If she had an ounce of brains, would have known our property income taxes were paid at the time of her interview. She would know that a joint utility bill is completely worthless as marriage. You can add any name to a utility bill.

Sure was present during our AOS, and the I-751 was a joint venture, but an entirely different procedure for US citizenship. Just made darn sure my wife understood our evidence. And both my wife's and stepdaughter's IO's were immigrants giving an English test, when they couldn't speak English themselves. Receptionist couldn't even speak English, had to talk to her like speaking to my one year old grandson.

But this is how they do it, so you have to comply and be nice.
