Got the e-mails on how to return our green cards. It does claim they’ll have the new ones to us in a week though. Posted in the above forums to let others know what USCIS instructed. Hope I don’t get flack for it.

The teen got interviewed and hired for a job today and is very happy. The girl interviewing ahead of her did not get hired on the spot. The manager said she wanted to offer the teen a position before someone else snapped her up. Yay! dancin5hr.gif

A thought: When you get that lovely NOA2 that says the magic words "your petition has been approved" and then you come onto the forums and ask "what does this mean?" I have to wonder... How bloody obvious do they need to make it? A big red stamp with "APPROVED" on it, maybe?

How true, sigh man. And, as discussed in a previous incarnation of this thread:

"God has approved my petition! God is great! Thanks be to God for approving my petition! God answers all prayers, and therefore He has approved my petition!"

I'd rather see "God has jostled the elbow of the adjudicator, and, with a blast of His nostril, caused the ink to flow from approval-stamper to paper in the 'for USCIS use only' block of my I-129F petition."

I usually refer to the God in the feminine form, though, so keep that in mine. Plagarism is perfectly OK for future God-ish responses ..
