Thank you so much, but I still have some questions:

How long does it take at the NVC to initiate IIN? my case was sent there on April 23. when do you suggest that I call?

I really would appreciate your guidance and advice!!!

You should start calling them from Next week amd know the date when NVC received your ca

After that you have to wait 30 days to get IIN number.

I suggest you to join NVC thread in Visa journey.

Did anyone receive notification letter regarding further processing steps and including case number in it from NVC once the case number assigned. :D

how will NVC infrom us about the CASE NUMBER if we do not call them. confused :huh: :huh:

It will take long time if you wait for letter..

And if you don't call them than you have to give your email to NVC, they will sent you email regarding your case number.

hello all!

my I-130 was approved on 4/16, and sent to NVC. NVC still doesnt have it.. how long does it take for them to get it??

the rep on the phone said 4-6 wks just to get it.. and i see that it takes about 30 days to get a case #..

Does that sound about right??

IV pack resent.............July 18th (we sent it one week after aos pack but mail retorned to my husband office)

thanks! i have been looking on the NVC spread sheet and seen it hasnt taken 4-6 wks for most cases. I will also continue to call.

i sent to my wife paper work they ask for with DHL.... also my wife she got every thing i hope next week sent this crazy evidence to CSC and get my approval..is 9 months now some people got complete case and me no approval at all :sleepy::sleepy::ranting::ranting::ranting: ....good and best luck for all

I know exactly how it feels...

Even though they did not RFE, I waited for 258 days (8.6 months) till I got the approval in April 23rd!!! while most of the Augusters were approved in February and March!!!

I hope you hear from them soon!
