I'm in the process of submitting I-485 (AOS) for my wife here in the US. Before we submit the application, we need to include the vaccination form (I-693) with it, along with a copy of pending I-130 and I-864.

My question is - how long do physicians in the US take to complete the I-693 form?

We have 40 days window between now and when my spouse's vistior visa expires, and we are hoping to get all this in by then and have NOA-1 letter in hand.

Thank you

The medical is usually two appointments over a couple days. They need time for the TB test to show up... 2 or 3 days. I believe I told you already that overstay is irrelevant/forgiven for spouses of USC who adjust in country, so the timetick on your visa doesn't matter if you are going this route. That being said, you still have plenty of time.

So start calling Civil Surgeons. You can find them at uscis.gov

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

We had all or stuff done in 5-7 days. Delay due to the result of the TB test.

It takes a few days once you have scheduled the appointment, assuming there are no issues like a positive TB test requiring x-rays and/or treatment. You should just start calling civil surgeons to set up an appointment. Also you should work on collecting any vaccination records she has so the doctors don't have to ####### her all over again. The results will be good for a year (meaning, you just need to finish adjusting status within a year after the form is signed).

While overstay is not a problem for AOS, it is a problem if you live or travel within 100 miles of the border where you either deal with internal immigration checkpoints or border patrols that is patrolling.
