how can i know if our case transferred to local office?my husband is living in florida is theres a possibility that our case is in florida?thanks so much

there's no way of knowing except calling the USCIS, getting hold of a Tier 2 person and shaking them politely till they look it up. In the majority of cases the petitioner is not notified of the transfer to field office, as far as i know.

I'm the beneficiary.

Any March/April filers contacted their Senators?

A link to another post regarding recent AILA meeting.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/448502-national-benefits-center-semiannual-aila-meeting/

March and April are within 6 months processing timeframe ("normal"). Not sure senators would look into it till it's overdue.

I'm the beneficiary.

I am going to die of depression and frustration due to this total uncertainty. Spousal visa for citizens used to be the quickest one. Now it's in a miserable state thanks to authorities who like to make illegals the finest citizens.

And people who are here illegally or on tourist visas (sometimes overstayed) who get married while they are here... while the rest of us who "do it the right way" have to wait while our loved ones are separated... Punishment for doing things the right way, I guess cray5ol.gif

Yes, I received the FORM LETTER saying 12 months... I am sure its the same letter everybody is getting. SEE BELOW

A review of our systems shows that Case MSCXXXXXXXXXX, Form I-130 filed by XOXOXOX on behalf of XOXOXOXOXOX was received in our office on 04/12/2013 and is currently pending. At this time, the stand-alone Immediate Relative Form I-130 petitions are being sent to the NBC for transition to the local field office of jurisdiction for adjudication. Due to the current workload at the field offices, our current processing time for I-130 applications is approximately 12 months.

NBC will review and adjudicate I-130 Immediate Relative requests for expedite if the file is located at the NBC. If you request to have this case expedited it needs to meet USCIS expedite criteria. Documentation supporting the expedite request must also be submitted at the time of the request. Information regarding the expedite criteria can be found at the link below.

I hope this information is helpful.

Thank you,

HI

I am ew to to visajourney. My husband file i 130 for me in october 2011, and recently he took citizenship (June 2013). We immediately called uscis and upgraded my petition to IR1 category and filed for AOS. I have done the biometrics and waiting for EAD and AP to arrive. My casestatus shows that it is ready for interview scheduling.

My question is how much time it takes for them toschedule a interview. I am looking for jobs and can not even apply since I do not have EAD. I am currently on H1B but I am loosing my current job in september. (Lay off).

Any info is appreciated. Thanks

Also what is tier 2? when people are saying call tier 2 exactly which number I am supposed to call?

March/Apri/May/June filers, Did your files get touched after it was entered in NBC? or it still showing the original update date?

April filer..my address was updated which really dosent count. Also we have been assigned an Alien reg number...so I assume my case has at least been looked at.

I am an early May filer and I have not had a touch since my NOA1 was sent. I have called and talked to a regular rep which was not helpful. I know that most people say I should wait until I am at the 6 month mark to have my Senator look into my case, but I am thinking I am going to do it at four months as I am afraid that six months will be too long to wait for me to start the process with my senator and seeing all the posts that no one is getting approved or that it will be 12 months is starting to stress me out. I have not been doing well emotionally with the separation from my husband so I think if anything it will at least give me a piece of mind.
