We filed the I129F in April, and got transferred to TSC from VSC, but after reading here in most places I found that I was supposed to write the dates and the names of the people in the pictures on the back of each photo but I did not!

I am so nervous right now! It is so difficult to prove that we were together because all the photos taken were done with with my cellphone and it does not tag a date on it.

I did not send any affidavits from third parties that witnessed our encounters :(

What do you think? Would this be a ground to an RFE?

Photos are not sufficient evidence of meeting in person in the last two years. So names or not, it won't do the trick. What did you include as evidence of meeting in the last two years?

Thanks for the quick reply. :)

I included letters of intent for both of us, letters of how we met and when. Copies of my passport with stamps of entries. Copies of airline tickets. Records of phone calls between us since we begun our relationship. I sent evidence of my divorce. Evidence of citizenship.

We didn't have a date stamp on our photos or affidavits. We included about 10 photos, but less is fine. Just so you included good evidence other than your photos you should be fine. Good Luck on your journey rose.gif

Thank you! I really hope it is just how you are saying! :) And I pray for that!

try to relax, this process can be very nerve wracking. Despite the fact the naturalization and divorce decree are not a proof of ongoing relationship, you sent good evidence (photos, passport stamps, etc) I basically sent the same. Once you have your interview you will need more than that, but you still have plenty time. For that moment make sure, to sign all the pics. God Bless you

No I think its a case of reading to much VJ and freaking out. This site could help but it can definitely bring you confusion and doubt if you let it. Try to just stay calm and positive. RFE's usually consist of something missing not missing labels. If it helps I did not label my pics and I had no personal affidavits and I received no RFE! Hope it helps.

Yes it is an rfe the dame thing happened to me and about 2 weeks ago they sent me an rfe from texas stating tbat I needed the dates and names on the back of the photos and also I turned in affidavits of supporrt from my family!

Not true. The OP provided ample proof that the met in the last two years (he sent passport stamps). His photos won't make a difference.

Something about your case must be different than his.

Do not worry! I agree with Natalie&Elias....this site CAN bring you confusion. Many members do different things...and everything you included is considered good evidence. I had no idea of affidavits, the only time I heard of that was with the CR-1. I'm personally including phone records, pics, stamps, itinerary's and random chats here and there. At this point what you need to prove is that you are both free to marry and that you are a US Citizen...of course proof of relationship is asked but that is put to the test on the Interview Date which is what I have noticed from all these different cases.

Tranquila everything will be just fine....don't worry.

That is not true, you also need to prove that you SAW EACHOTHER IN PERSON IN THE LAST TWO YEARS.

People confuse "proof of meeting" with "proof of relationship" and those are separate things. Proof of relationship is not strictly required for the I-129F petition, but will be required at interview. Some people put this in so the consular officer will see it before interview day.

Proof of meeting, or seeing each other in the last two years IS required for the petition and many people get RFEs for this because they don't understand it.

Photos do not prove you met in the last two years. They show you met, but it could be 2.5 years ago, or more.

The requirement to show that you saw eachother in person in the last two years is to prevent mail-order brides and also people who petition for old childhood friends that they haven't seen in years.

To show you saw eachother in the last two years, dated, third-party evidence is required, like boarding passes, receipts, passport stamps in the other person's country.
