We are expecting the EAD/AP notification any day now - some with similar NOA dates are getting the text and email updates as of yesterday.

So far, looks on track, maybe a bit longer than I first anticipated, but with the actual interview in June, may not need the EAD soon anyway (fingers crossed!).

Good luck to you too!

Thank you! Good luck to you on the interview. I am reading that some people have interview waivers and some have interviews, and I read that those who have interviews get their GC's faster. I don't know if that's true.

I sent my aos on 28 february.had my biometrics on march 28 and its way more 2 months since i had my biometrics and there is no news from uscis :(

Still no EAD/AP? Well hopefully it will arrive very soon!

Is there anyone on our forum that has received their EAD/AP card yet? Did it take about as long as you expected? Good luck to all at whichever stage you are!

I received my EAD/AP combo card on May 12th. I was approved on May 6th, and the card went into production on May 9th (they send it 2-day priority, which is pretty amazing). Mine had to go from MO to FL, I know of some people that actually received it the day after it was sent, I guess it depends on where you live.

I sent my aos on 28 february.had my biometrics on march 28 and its way more 2 months since i had my biometrics and there is no news from uscis :(

It'll come soon, I filed one day before you guys...

Still no change on my I-485, must be because of the Field Office I'm dealing with, they must be swamped!

F-1 Visa: Academic years 2007/2010.

K-1 Visa: I-129F sent Aug 2013; Approved Jan 2014.

Green Card: AOS sent Feb 2014; Approved Jan 2015.

Removal of Conditions: I-751 sent Nov 2016; Approved Apr 2018.

US Citizenship: Application sent Nov 2017; Fingerprints Nov 2017; Civics/English exam March 2018; Oath May 2018.

I know the wait can be agonizing - hopefully you will hear something very soon and at least take comfort in knowing there's movement on the application!

I had it in my head that the interview would not be until Sep or Oct, so was pretty surprised to have it so many months earlier.

I wonder if you have been selected to skip interview and instead go to CSC for the Green Card final review and production? If so, the wait is longer, from what I've read on here.

Hello very one

my EAD is on the way and will get delivered to me tomorrow.

I have a question to you guys I did not receive any e-mail or text message that the card was ready I have sent the contact form along with my AOS though.

now I am afraid I will not know when my interview day is going to be cause they might not text or e-mail to me, or I can check it on USCIS web site through my case number?

thanks much

Are there any new K-1 visa petition filers among us? My boyfriend (US) and I (UK) filed our 129F last week and got the NOA1 which said the case has been routed to Texas Service Centre. From the other threads on the forum it looks like we're in for a long and agonizing wait. The lucky few who have their case routed to California Service Centre, seem to be getting their NOA2 within days/weeks. That just seems unfair - and inefficient; but I am happy for anyone who's not having to go through the miserable waiting!

Any other recent same-sex 129F filers? Please share your stories and progress through the morass of USCIS. That will make our wait less painful

Hi Pinayanne27 -- You have reason to cheer. From my obsessive lurking around on these forums, it appears that applications from Philippines seem to have an expedited processing at TSC - for one reason or other. And if you end up at CSC, then you have no reason to worry at all. Good luck!

It's so nice to find this group. I am Peruvian and my husband is an American citizen. We sent our I-130 on October 25, 2013 and were assigned to the Texas Service Center. It has been 7 months and we are still waiting. We have been traveling back and forth to see each other since 2005. I havent been to the USA since 2007 when my visa got denied (for the first time, but not the last). Since that time, we have met each other in Peru and other countries like Argentina, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Australia, Mexico, and Panama every 3 or 4 months to keep our relationship going strong. It has been an expensive and long journey, but hopefully we will be together in the States at the end of this year or before that time. Wish us luck!

Hello!

We put in our K1 application late April! We are one of the 'Lucky' ones though and got routed to Cali and got approval in 12 days. I also think the system is horribly unfair. I am so happy that we were approved fast but it ruin's the fun when you are seeing people who have been waiting longer than you still waiting.

We were in for the long wait, our attorney told us no less than 5 months. I guess in the scheme of things that was ok because now at least we can apply!!! Its been years of waiting and hoping! I really never thought we would see the time when it would change and we could legally move to the USA.

I am very lucky that my partner has been living in Australia with me. It hasn't come with its challenges though, she misses her home and family so much.

Good luck with your application and I hope it speeds on through for you!

My fiance sent our papers last friday, May 23. The waiting game begins this week. We're really hoping to get updates within the week.

How does USCIS choose/process as to which application they would forward to Texas or California? Are there some qualifications or something?

Getting worried about being transferred to Texas

My fiance is from Florida, a non-legal state. we plan to get married in new york. but We didn't include any documents regarding the same sex marriage laws etc in new york.

Will we receive a rfe for that? :(

No, the laws that allow gay couples to pursue immigration is federal law, not a state law.

I live in Alabama (and my wife is from here) and got married in Maryland, there wasn't an issue. When you get married, and send off AOS, you just include a copy of your marriage certificate and they don't care which state you will be getting married in as opposed to which state you will be residing in.

Hello every one, I really need your help

I sent e-notification along with my AOS packet

when USCIS received my application they sent me text message on the phone and e-mail notifying me that they received it.

couple of days ago I received my Employment Authorization Card by mail and they never notified me by sms or e-mail that they were going to mail it to me.

now I am a little worried, what if they scheduled green card interview date for me and they just did not notify me with sms or e-mail? how would I know it?

I can track my case number on USCIS web site but I heard sometimes they don't update it

any one has experience in this issue? thanks very much
