Administrative Processing

Hi All,

Recently my case was completed by NVC and now I am waiting on getting an interview date. I have seen a lot of Pakistanis going through the AP. For the past 8 years I have been living and working abroad. I left for London in 2006 and lived and worked there for 7 years and for the past 1 year I have been living and working in Dubai. I hold Pakistani Passport and my local embassy is ABU DHAB. I just wanted to know form VJ epxeprts if I could expect Administrative Processing taking into consideration the years I spent living outside Pakistan.

if you are interviewing in the UK then it will be easier, but you only do that if you are LPR of UK

It doesn't matter how many years you lived in the UK or wherever. My wife was pretty much raised in UK since she was in Kindergarten. Her visa app was in AP for exactly 12 months.

Aoun..if you are lucky and luck is with you than you will will be approved but if not AP is common doesnt matter where ever you lived.i lived in UK for 8 years even with my usc wife but its 11th month iam still in AP,so for my side it doesnt worked.in my personal opinion i think if you lived some where else AP takes too longer than normal but once again its my personal opinion..wel wish you best of luck..
