Had my biometrics the other day, does anyone know roughly how long it takes after biometrics to hear any updates/see any changes with the progress tracker thing?

Seems pretty quick these days, mine took 6 days, but others have shown up to three weeks between. Check out the Processing times link. And don't get your hopes up when it finally changes to "Testing and Interview" - after that you may wait 2 days or 2 months to get an interview date.

07/01/2013 Sent I-485/I-130/II-765/I-131 USPS Priority certified mail to USCIS Chicago Lockbox

Day 1: 07/03/2013 USPS package delivery receipt online

Day 9: 07/11/2103 Received NOA1 texts and email confirmations from G-1145 AOS package cover page

Day 10: 07/12/2013 Received I-797C hardcopy NOA1's in the mail for all forms submitted

Day 14: 07/16/2013 Received Biometrics appt. Notice for 08/01/2013 appointment

Day 30: 08/01/2013 Biometrics completed

Day 36: 08/07/2013 Received text and email alerts that I-485 has been updated to testing and interview. Awaiting hard copy appointment notice.

Day 63: 09/03/2013 Received text and email alerts that I-765 (EAD) is in card production, and that I-131 has been approved and a letter mailed to that extent

Day 66: 09/06/2013 Received 2nd text and email alerts for I-765 card production (a duplicate of the first?)

Day 69: 09/09/2013 Received 3rd text and email alerts for I-765 card production: card in the mail (no tracking number given)

Day 71: 09/11/2013 Received USPS delivered envelope with EAD combo card also serves as "I-512 Advance Parole" in the mail.

07-08-13 field

07-12-13 noa recieve

08-13-13 biometrics ok.

08-20-13 case change status "testing & inderview".....no dates!

Finally got my biometrics done today. Was not able to get it done on the scheduled date. Got it rescheduled, but tried walk in today and got it done :)

In between I got an RFE, just sent in the documents yesterday.

Day 0 -7/22/2013- Sent AOS package via Fedex

Day 1 -7/23/2013. Package Delivered

Day 7- 7/29/2013- E confirmation received via email

Day 7 - 7/29/2013- Cheks Cashed

Day 10 8/1/2013- NOA Hard copies received

Day 18 8/9/2013- Got Biometric letter (appt date 8/23/2013)

Day 23 8/14/2013- RFE on I-864

Day 36 8/27/2013- RFE documents Sent

Day 37 8/28/2013 Successful Biometrics

Day 44 9/3/2013 USCIS receives the RFE and status changed to RFE review

Day 56 9/17/2013 I485 Online status changed to Testing and Interview

Day 66 9/27/2013 I485 Online status states Inteview date as 10/31/2013

Day 66 9/27/2013 EAD status changed to Card/Document Production

Day 70 10/2/2013 Received EAD/AP Combo Card

Successful walk-in biometric appointment at Naperville, IL on 30 July (after first failed attempt).



And now nothing. Zilch. Nada. No communication for almost a month. Really desperate for my EAD as I have a job to start as soon as I have it. Is there any point in phoning or are they just going to say 'wait - it's well within the normal time limits'? I know I'm being unfairly impatient, given that it's 60 to 90 days for the EAD/AP normally anyway.

dont worry Anna. you are in the normal time limits! i think the next days you will recieve notice about "testing and inderview" and about 20-30 sept. you will recieve notice about EAD. ......THATS THE AVERAGE TIME LINE!!

Hey Anna! We are in a similar situation and timeline. I also have a job offer and would like my EAD card very soon! I've seen other threads on here about asking the USCIS to expedite EADs. I'm thinking of calling the NBC today to try and expedite mine.

AOS Timeline

Day 1 - 7/23/13 - USCIS received my application
Day 6 - 7/29/13 - Received emails and texts
Day 10 - 8/2/13 - Received NOAs in the mail

Day 22 - 8/14/13 - Received appt date for 8/19/13 in the mail

Day 27 - 8/19/13 - Biometrics completed at Saint Paul, MN Service Center

Day 43 - 9/4/13 - Online Status of 1-485 changed to "Testing and Interview"

Day 47 - 9/8/13 - Letter sent saying appointment is on 10/7/13

Day 57 - 9/18/13 - EAD/AP Card in production

Day 65 - 9/26/13 - Received EAD/AP Card!

Day 77 - 10/7/13 - AOS Interview completed

Day 77 - 10/7/13 - I130 and I485 Approved!!

On 08/22/2013 i checked my I-485 online status and it was updated to "Testing and Interview"; so I guess that was my 1st update. I didn't receive any notifications via mail or SMS. About my timeline .. Sorry but I am really bad with the settings in my profile and it was hard for me to keep my timeline updated, that's why it was easy for me to update my signature with all the news, notifications, dates etc. so u can see my timeline under my posts as signature :)

AOS based on a marriage with US citizen:

06/06/2012 - last entry in USA on J1 visa;

05/06/2013 - got married;

07/18/2013 - sent the package (I-130, I-485, I-765);

07/23/2013 - USCIS received the package;
