I have not received my US embassy letter from manila or a letter from NVC. Will they requiring me the letter on my interview? My interview is this coming June 13 and I doubt I will receive it since it is a holiday tomorrow and no one will be delivering.

The petitioner should get a letter from NVC with the MNL # on it... should, but not always.

The beneficiary rarely receives the letter from the embassy, that is more a way of life. (the embassy instructions letter is online)

Don't hold your breath for either, you can get everything done without them

Thanks Hank! Just needed that. These pre jitters that you get days before the interview. It makes me paranoid! :P I'll just tell them that neither of me or my fiance received a letter from USEM or NVC. :)

Thanks too for the link Robb&Ann :)

St. Luke's is the only one that will ask for either of those, just have to show them the confirmation page from scheduling the interview then tell them you acquired the MNL# by phone so they stop pushing on the issue.

USEM will only want the confirmation page (or letter) for the interview. Along with all the required stuff ... of course

Agreed, you don't need the Embassy's "eligibility" letter nor the NVC letter.

And don't worry too much about your interview. Most interviews are quicker than the time it takes a hungry man to eat his lunch.

Good luck!
