Comments : POE at Seattle-Tacoma was long during my time. Took me 3 hours and all the counters for immigration don't allow electronic devices so I wasn't able to message my fiance I was just waiting for immigration. It ended well though. Just the waiting was long. Just answered what was asked and the truth.

Embassy Review : Manila embassy was packed! I was scheduled for a 7:30am appointment. I was there at 5:45 and I regretted it. June to August is rainy season so beware. Stood out there until 7am then was given my number. It is a waiting game there. Took me 6 hours before I was released.

Forms asked upon entrance:

2 DS156
2 DS157
1 DS156K
passport taken out of cover
appointment letter first page

Go through inspection and out to the ticket booth.
give the forms to the booth and they will give you a number/ticket.

Proceed inside and dont wait outside. It's cooler inside plus you have to give the forms to a greeted inside bc they will pass the forms to window 39.

Sit in a chair in between counters 40-65. It's closer to the counters you will be first called to.
You will have to come near a counter 4 times.
1.finger scanning
2.Filipino pre screener
3.American consul
4.releasing

Finger scanning and pre screen can interchange.
prescreen requires receipt of payment, NBI, birth certificate, CENOMAR,I-134,1040, w2, and pictures of me and my fiance.

American consul took like 3minutes with 4 questions.

It was about to rain when I got out and a few minutes later it was pouring and there was flood so bring slippers or wear vinyl flats or boots. :P

They had a lunch break so I had to wait another hour to be told to go home.

It's just the wait that was painful. People were really nice
Rating : Very Good

Embassy Review : It was nice and smooth. First immigration officer just required me to stand in line and I was asked the address I was gonna stay and with whom (petitioner). Very strict with use of cellular phones. The second desk of immigration officer took like 3 hours because this was the part when they will review your visa packet and ask you more question and a date on when you plan on getting married. The officers here prefer that you have an exact date so I suggest you make one up in advance to avoid further delay and questioning. :P

People here were helpful though and nice in my opinion

Embassy Review : We got there at 12:30pm for a 1:45pm. Totally overestimated traffic. Haha! We went in at 1:30pm and were called in by 2:00pm so waiting was like 30 minutes. The interview was only for 5 minutes. It was that fast.

We swore before sitting down and we answered whoever between me and my husband wanted to answer. My husband (petitioner) answered more even if i could have. Haha! The officer was pretty ok. I didn't think any of the people there was scary or intimidating tbh. He asked about our relationship and family.
When and where we met. (Online)
How many times he visited me. (Just once)
If he met my aunt who lives in CA (whom I really wasn't close with) ---> this question was raised when he asked me if I had any relative.
Asked who were living with us because we lived with his family.
Asked me the "have you" questions from the form.
He then said your card will be in the mail in a few days.

Seattle people from SSN to interviews are really nice and I must say well informed like I applied for SSN in my married name and wasn't turned away saying I should have done it before applying. Another is that I didn't have to pass the I693. I only submitted a copy of the DS 3025(vaccination supplement).

I was a bit skeptical as to why we were scheduled in the afternoon and I read a post here that said it might mean something bad but really we would have been one of the fastest to finish. Just answer truthfully and better to overload in stuff so you will be at ease. He did not ask for anything from us. No pictures, no account, no health insurance. Just those 4 or 5 questions. It's all about how sure you are about your relationship and I was pretty solid that we passed all the documents and that what we have is real.

It has been a wonderful experience in all the USCIS department or my whole immigration process from K1 to 2 year greencard.
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
