Hi Guys,

I just got an update yesterday regarding my N-400 application. Form I-797C came in the mail, priority and received dates are the same June 19, 2013. Notice date June 21, 2013. I sent in a money order so i dont know exactly when they cashed it. Please anyone update my status. Eligible date was May 10, 2013, and update my field office too Milwaukee, WI. Just called USCIS and they just mailed my biometrics appointment letter yesterday, so that means i should be getting it on Monday:)

It's all about consistency too, but whatever.. atleast I'll be done with USCIS in 2-3 weeks (doesn't mean I won't be active in this forum).. was trying to help others clearly you know what your doing,

Hey guys

I have a couple of questions to ask....

First off on the ucscis website my field office based on my zip code is the San Fernando Valley office ( Chatsworth ) but I haven't found post or tracker using the Chatsworth office; does that office process naturalization applications?

Second does anybody know if there are oath ceremonies in November and December in LA as well?

I need added to the timeline that the received date and priority date are both June 13, 2013. And although since my wife is filing her N400 as military, she did go to the USCIS Application Support Center in Nashville to get a clear copy of fingerprints for them just in case her military fingerprints arent clear enough to read and because the military is sometimes slow in providing the fingerprints to USCIS. The USCIS Military Help Line person said she should go get fingerprinted on her own for those reasons only. I dont think that technically applies as a biometrics appointment though, so I left that off her timeline here. Supposedly she is not going to be required to have a biometrics done. She had her fingerprints done on the 27th of June though.

Hello everyone, just added the timeline for my wife. She became eligible after 3 yrs of entering the US and we sent off our citizenship N-400 application in, pretty much to the date.

I tried to change the font to match the existing type, but was not having any luck. Could the original post-owner please edit. Apologize for messing up the font!

Does anyone know what the timing is for the Dallas lockbox? Not getting a real gauge based off the above timelines. Should be ~ 4-6 weeks for the biometric appt. But what about the interview timeframe?

Also, when we changed our AoS for my wife's permanent 10 yr green card, we already did the biometrics (just 9 months ago). Any reason as to why we're being subjected to this again (other than the USCIS just making money off of us)?

It makes sense to have updated biometrics at every stage of immigration. You might know your wife has no criminal record but how would a third party, without one? DHS employees have to update their biometrics regularly, and they're citizens. As for interview timeframe, I don't know, but it looks like the whole process can be anywhere from 3-5 months. Welcome to June filers.

It makes sense to have updated biometrics at every stage of immigration. You might know your wife has no criminal record but how would a third party, without one? DHS employees have to update their biometrics regularly, and they're citizens. As for interview timeframe, I don't know, but it looks like the whole process can be anywhere from 3-5 months. Welcome to June filers.

USCIS: 10-06-2009: I-130 rec'd by USCIS; 03-16-2010: I-130 APPROVAL (after 5+ friggin months of torture, agony and waiting!)
NVC:
04-29-2010: INTERVIEW ASSIGNED FOR JUNE 10TH IN CHENNAI CONSULATE, INDIA; 06-10-2010: INTERVIEW - VISA APPROVED!!!!!
06-18-2010: Entered US - NEW YORK CITY and 08-16-2010: GC received! (nearly 2 months after PoE) woo hoo!
AOS for permanent 10 yr green card:

04-02-2012: NOA of I-751 and 1 yr extension of temp green card

05-03-2012: Biometrics appointment

12-18-2012: 10 yr Green card approved; 12-22-2012: Green card rec'd

N-400 citizenship:

06-19-2013: N-400 mailed; 06-22-2013: N-400 rec'd at Dallas lockbox

10-3-2013: Interview date - APPROVED!

10-18-2013: NATURALIZED - We are done with USCIS!!!
