APPROVED!! QUESTIONS ABOUT NVC STAGE!!

Hello everyone!! I am proud to announce that we got APPROVED!! Sorry I announced it late was having some issues getting into my visa journey account but its working now soo yay!! Lol!! Now let's be serious now, GUYS I NEED HELP PLEASE!! Don't know what to expect or what I should do for the NVC stage. Just please let me know all the details I should know about the NVC stage like about the packets and what I should know about them. Also I heard that once I'm in the NVC stage that its all about calling, calling and calling them, is this true? Do they really take such a long time for them to give me what I believe is a case number or an identification number, something like that? Please guys let me know, I just want to get through this stage because supposedly its the fastest part of the process and also because of course to be with my hubby asap. Oh and as far as the AOS I already took care of that so no need to tell me details about that because I already know, that is DEFINITELY done and over with and ready! Thanks guys for all your support, much appreciated!!

Read entire first two posts and all the links therein except anything to do with electronic processing or online forms (Columbia doesn't qualify for those.)

It can take a few weeks to a few months for the approved I-130 to end up at the NVC. Once there it can take up to 20 business days to get the case numbers but normally happens within a few weeks. Yes you should be calling. The USC can use google voice to call for free if long distance calling is an issue. I didn't call all the time (I'm the beneficiary) except when I felt it was appropriate like to get my numbers etc..

USCIS (85 days)

August 23, 2012 - Sent I-130

August 28, 2012 - NOA1 via email

September 25, 2012 - NOA1 hardcopy received

November 21, 2012 - NOA2 via email

NVC

November 29, 2012 - NVC case received (Case # not ready)

December 3, 2012 - NVC case number and IIn received

December 3, 2012 - Choice of Agent e-mail sent (DS 3032)

December 5, 2012 - AOS Bill Invoiced and Paid

December 11, 2012 - AOS Packet sent

December 12, 2012 - DS 3032 accepted

December 13, 2012 - IV Bill Invoiced

December 31, 2012 - Checklist for AOS (forgot to put N/A on part 6)
