I submitted my application (I751) to VSC a year as of next month, 6/6/12. But the only thing I've ever received from them is the bio metric appointment and that didn't come till February of this year!

I'm past the processing time frame according to there website too.

Tried calling the number but of course there closed on Saturdays!

Any help or advice would be much obliged, also how do I go about getting an extension for my case on top of the extension I got for this year?

Thanks and have a great day

Todd

If you need an extension you must make an appointment with infopass and go in to request an extension as you have not been approved yet.

Thanks for the advice everyone. So I put in a service request about 5 days ago and received this in my email. I'm not 100% sure what it means but I think its good. Especially the highlighted section is what I'm focused on. Any insight to what this means would be much obliged as the uscis online case status says different.

Dear xxx:

On 05/16/2013 you, or the designated representative shown below, contacted us
about your case. Some of the key information given to us at that time was the
following:

Caller indicated they are:
-- Applicant or Petitioner

Attorney Name:
-- Information not available

Case type:
-- CRI89

Filing date:
-- 06/06/2012

Receipt #:
-- EAC-xxx

Referral ID:
xxxxVSC
Beneficiary (if you filed for someone else):
-- Information not available

Your USCIS Account Number (A-number):
-- xxxxxx

Type of service requested:
-- Non-Delivery of Permanent Resident Card - (this is strange too because I only mentioned my case was outside of processing times!?)

The status of this service request is:

A review of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records indicates
that as of the date of this letter, your Permanent Resident Card (PRC) was in
production at the Vermont Service Center. If you have not received your card
within 20 days, please contact customer service at the number below. - Does this mean what I hope it means? :)

Anyone more enlightened then I who would be able to clarify this for me would be appreciated. Thanks and have a good day!

The highlighted part means you have been approved! Congratulations!

You will most likely get an approval letter in the mail soon, and your new green card should also follow soon. Don't pay any attention to the online status. People get approved all the time, receive their new GC, and the online status is still "initial review".

Hi, Orlandosaint

Reading your post, I think I have a similar case with you. USCIS received my package on Feb.1/13. They sent an extension letter but not the biometric appointment. I called many times and they said that "they don't have an app for me, when they have an app, they'll send me a letter"

Obviously I'm worried about it, because I never have read on VJ something like that. Many people don't receive the extension letter but they receive the biometric appointment. I think is your case. Please let me know if I'm correct. I'm thinking make an infopass the next month and expose my case.

Thank you in advance

Diana

If you have not received biometrics and you filed in Feb, that is unusual. I think you need to call them or schedule appt asap so they can send you biometrics appt letter.

Hi, guys
A few days ago I called to USCIS again about my appt biometric, at that time I wanted to talk with an IO level 2, I explained one more time my problem, and he was very friendly and helpful and told me that he will put a new request about my case. I check my mailbox today and found a USCIS letter, it says: "Our records indicate that we are in the process of scheduling your ASC appt associated with this case.
Your case is currently in suspense until you complete this process. You should receive a copy of the appt of the appt notice within 60-90 days..."
Well, for now I am not going to worry until that date.
