Nice surprise this morning !! Got the NOA2 and wasn't expecting it until Jan sometime!!

73 days in total from noa1 to noa2 through TSC - CSC

Hope other October filers still waiting, start getting theirs in too!!

Looks like they're getting round to the early-October filers now - congratulations to those who have their NOA2s! I know ours is, at best, 3-4 weeks away, but... a girl can hope, and I've got my fingers crossed we're going to be among the lucky ones who get approved at around the 70 day mark. Good luck to everyone who's waiting....

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

I was reviewing some immigration timelines and noticed that an October I-129F received an NOA 2 already. So, wanted to start tracking them. Anyone else? I know it's still very early, but I'm getting antsy, especially since the couple that got their NOA 2 had an NOA 1 date one day after us. Keeping my fingers crossed!

12-31-06: Wohooo he visited me and spent New Year with me!!!

01-03-07: NVC sent the petition to Manila

01-12-07: It's sad he needed to go back home :(

01-12-07: US Embassy received our case

02-17-07: Our anniversarry and we got a great news!!

we have an appointment date for interview..

04-16-07: Medical appointment date at St. Lukes

04-23-07: Interview date!!!

04-23-07: APPROVED!!! Wahoooo!!!

05-02-07: Visa received and in our hands!! Seeing is believing!! :):):D!

07-26-07: HELLO U.S.A

09-08-07: Wedding Day!

we also filed in October 06 - NOA1 received on 11th October, and touched on the 16th October - nothing since then...I too am getting impatient about the long wait ahead...

looks like we filled at the sametime.

01/16/2007 nvc received petition

03/17/2007 tracey arrives from new zealand

05/26/2007 tracey and i are married

02/04/2008 mailed off AOS

Nada since mid-December? They must have all took the holidays off! :-(

Hopefully there will be a flurry of NOA2's in the next week!!

I know... thought we'd start seeing that flurry towards the end of this week - someone needs to tell CSC that the holidays are over. :(

Sent to TSC and received NOA1 from CSC on 10.18.06

I-129F/K3

Sent on 10.20.06 (Chicago) and received NOA-1 on 10.26.06

Sent to CSC and received on 11.15.06 Did I lose a month????? Maybe

Bottom line, ---I am in CSC waiting??? Have both waiting in CSC?

Ironically, I used to live in California; maybe I should go over and process the applications myself.

OK lets take bets on the date of NOA2 and which is approved 1st? I-130 or 1-129F/K3???????????????????

We got touched earlier and APPROVED email was received tonight!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!! And I am going to Brasil next week for over a week of vacation with my fiance!!! We are so excited now!!! :dance:

We got ours. Jan 11 in the mail...I think Jan 4th was the actual date. NOA1 was October 16...Best wishes to everyone waiting!

Timeline:

06-??-05: Met on mission trip in El Salvador...

07-28-05: Said goodbye...sniff, sniff

05-19-06: He was denied the tourist visa by the Embassy in Managua...

06-15-06: I couldn't wait any longer...flew to see him in Managua...

07-??-06: We got engaged.

07-13-06: I flew back to the U.S.

10-03-06: I-129F sent certified express mail

10-06-06: Notice Left, October 06, 2006, 11:29 am, MESQUITE, TX 75185 (um..maybe tomorrow?!)

10-10-06: Your item was delivered at 6:40 am on October 10, 2006 in MESQUITE, TX 75185 to INS . The item was signed for by M S.

10-16-06: NOA1 date...no email...but this is the date on the official copy that they sent to me (it's so pretty!).

10-19-06: Check posted (online banking).

10-20-06: Received NOA1 snail mail.

01-04-07: NOA2 (93 days)

01-11-07: Received NOA2 snail mail.

01-20-07: Letter from NVC: Case will be on its way to Managua within 1 week. (Date on letter: Jan 16).

01-26-07: Fran receives packet three and INTERVIEW DATE.

03-13-07: Interview date. Visa granted! Gracias a Dios.

03-18-07: We fly back to the U.S.

03-22-07: We get married!

06-??-07: We file I-485.

Hold up b/c notice of biometrics appointment doesn't arrive to our never changed address!

I don't really remember the dates b/c I am filling this in half a year later!

12-24-07: We find out we are expecting a little one!

01-??-08: Fran receives his green card.

JUNE-2006 Introduced thru a family member via phone

AUG- 2006 Went to the UK to visit for 4 days, ENDED UP STAYING FOR 8 DAYS!!!

**TALK ON THE PHONE EVERYDAY...FEELINGS ARE STRONG

OCT- 2006 Went to UK for visit/4 days

**PROPOSED

11-27-06 I-129F mailed to Vermont

11-29-06 Receipt of NOA1 (received in mail on Dec 4)

12-08-06 Touched

MID-JAN-2007 Will be going soon to UK for visit/1 week

JAN-10-2007 EMAIL OF APPROVAL FOR NOA2 (Received email 8 times in a row!!!!!)

01-11-07 "TOUCHED"

JAN-23-07 BACK FROM UK-- ENJOYED THE 6 DAYS THERE...

JAN-18-07 RECEIVED LETTER FROM NVC (National Visa Center)

1 WEEK PETITION WILL BE FORWARDED TO THE APPROPRIATE VISA ISSUING POST (LONDON) WHERE INTERVIEW WILL TAKE PLACE....

JAN 24-07 JUST FOUND OUT OVER THE PHONE THAT NVC SENT PETITION TO LONDON ON 1/12/07 & US EMBASSY IN LONDON HAS HAD THE FILE SINCE JAN 17TH 2007

JAN-26-07 HONEY JUST CALLED ME...GOT PACKET 3.... WOW!!!!!!!
