Need Prayers

A school bus from my High School Alma Mater has just flipped off the interstate with about 35 kids on board so I'm asking VJ for all the prayers you can muster for all thechildren who were on there. Right now four students are confirmed dead, no word on the others.

What was the cause?

Well, nothing confirmed but they're saying a car may have cut the bus off. If anyone has ever ridden in one they are well aware they aren't that stable, so a swerving tall bus against a two foot high concrete barrier keeping it from the ground 30 feet below isn't much of a match.

They decreased the number that passed away to 2 instead of 4, but I'm sure that's little consolation to those families. Terrible... M.

Local news broke in a little while ago with an update. They have not confirmed the identities of some of the injured. The two confirmed deaths are a 17 and 18 year old girls.

The hospital has asked for families to not flood the facility and that some of the students are still in critical condition and they are contacting family members as they identify the injured. Some of them have been transfered to other hospitals so things are still chaotic.

A witness is being talked to now and was not in the automobile in question. There is some question that an SUV struck the bus and possible was a young driver maybe even a student. It is all sketchy yet and they are having Clergy staff available to the first responders in an hour or so for comfort.

It is really a terrible accident.

A third death with name is also confirmed now. I can't imagine how terrifying it must have been for those kids when they felt their bus going off the interstate.....
