Lots can happen when the process is so long. I have been my future wife's sole support now for over a year as I am sure many here are also. We recently discussed some of the very sad stories here about fiance's dying. I want my wife to be to know that there is no doubt about my depth of love so I immediately made her my beneficiary on both my bank accounts and my life insurance and accidental death policies. We are getting close to our NOA2 as I am sending the RFE information within a week.

Wish everyone here the best. Please sign the petition.

Um, they have sped up a lot of CSC I-129F cases. Have you looked at the latest approvals? Dozens a day. So the facts in your petition are no longer accurate.

Your fiancee survived before you, so the fact that you are her sole support is a little off.

Best of luck to you.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

The slowdown facts may not be totally accurate now still there are many from July and August still waiting. The end goal of the petition is to make USCIS set up mandatory processing guidelines for all "legal forms" of immigration. The fact that there own standard for processing K1 visas is 5 months, yet now and many times in the past they have fallen far short of this "standard".

When this petition expires I will be refiling a reworded petition addressing the need to set Mandatory processing guidelines.

Have a terrific day.
