how long does it take to process Filing By Dad

We have a friend in London who is been waiting for the dad to file papers for him, its been a year on more now and am wondering does it take that long in the USA. He is almost 35 years old with wife and kids 2.

Please Advise.

Like Gowon said, I don't think that's possible. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the parents can file papers for their foreign child if the child is underage. Not only is this person over 18, but they also have a wife and kids. He would have to find his own way over to the States in order to file for his family afterwards.

Is the Dad a USC if not there is not math for married adult children. If he is about 8 years.

For married sons and daughter of US citizens wait is roughly 11 years from the time of submitting the petition. Is that what you're asking for ?

Is his dad a US citizen ?
