CSC Slowdown After December 2012?

I know DACA was transferred to Nebsraska and Texas, but I believe it's a high coincidence that the CSC frenzy and VSC slowdown occured at pretty much -exactly the same time-. That is too much of a coincidence. Also, I don't know how one can state "VSC is a lot closer to January" if said person actually looks at Igors List. VSC has less than half of January, none of November and none of December. CSC has more of October done, a chunk of November and about half of December. That certainly seems to me like they have more of a chance of doing January first, and I certainly hope said person wasn't referring to me as 'such stupid'.

The DACAs and such were transferred to Texas, not VSC, and was explained in the news releases. The slowdown at VSC is probably due to reallocation of their resources within the center itself as Vermont already processes their own share of DACA and other applications.

There has been no report of workload transfer from CSC to VSC.

You can find updates in their news section of www.uscis.gov . DACA was transferred a little while ago to the Nebraska and Texas Service Centers to help balance out the workload.

Yes ..Thats what I'm trying to explain to her.....the slow down of VSChas nothing to do with CSC....its non sense to think....

Lets watch next days..I'm really thinking that in 20 days 80% of 2012 will be done....

I don't know why to argue about something that isnt true...

VSC is wokring on oct petitions... VSC is much near to start to work on 2013 than CSC...

I know you are of CSC but stop to complaining and worry.... people here waited like 9 months and imagine so some of them waited 8 months to get a REF.

They are not obligated to report individual case transfers (sometimes specific cases are transferred for various reasons), but they do announce load transfers on the USCIS website.

That makes me smile when people say that VSC is at a snail pace. Ok, there has been less approvals on VJ for a little bit over a week, but u still see approvals, an average of 5NOA2 and i don't know how many RFEs a day. Do you guys realize that when CSC was at a snail pace like you call it it meant NO NOA2 for days on VJ and like 15 approvals a MONTHS. So if there is a slow down at VSC this is nothing compared to what happened at CSC. I waited almost 8 months for my NOA2 (and it's because i got lucky i didn't get any RFE)

I also think that the VSC slowdown has nothing to do with the CSC frenzy approval rate. I think they both made changes in their internal ressources allocation. For Csc it was the transfer of DACA cases to TSC and also the actions of everyone coming together to complain to their representatives, the csc director, cis ombudsman. If you look at older posts on here you will see that many people worked hard on having something happening

Well my NOA1 was April 8, so I've got a little ways to go anyways. I just hope it doesn't become 8-9 months for me due to another standstill like those from 2012 have had to suffer. But my fiance and I are prepared for it.

i sure hope you are right because up until now 9 months and 3 days and with all the approvals here and there, our july case still hasnt been touched.

i hope they do finish us and get to do your files soon. praying for all of us.

This is a cycle which has been repeated over the years, not to mention the DACA issues, hang in there.
