Can We Have a Respectful Discussion on Religion?

I thought I'd make an ongoing religion thread where respectful discussions about various religions, beliefs and practices, are talked about openly.

Here's the simple rules:

1. If you have a question about a particular belief or practice, ask it respectfully and then allow someone to reply to it.

2. Accept their answer, even if you disagree with it on principal or logic.

3. Don't deliberately try to misrepresent someone's beliefs or practices and when done so unintentionally, actively listen and be open to hearing the corrected description.

4. Don't come in here to try and belittle or make fun of anyone's religion, however, you can openly express your disagreement with a particular belief or practice.

That's it.
