Vaccination Records

My wife had several of the required vaccinations already back in Russia, but her records are back home. Can she have her mother scan and email those records or do they need to be original?

Unless the doctor you go to is a jerk, she should be able to scan the records and send them to you. When you make your exam appointment, I would just ask to confirm it.

I'm referring to the records she has back in Russia. To avoid having to take the same vaccinations that she has already had, can her mother scan her records and send by email or would she need to send them by mail?

Yes, that's what I meant. She should be able to use her Russian records

It's up to the doctor whether or not to accept it. This medical exam is for public safety so that is the most important factor here - they need to determine whether or not your wife poses a risk to public health. The doctor can do a blood titre test and look for antibodies to know what vaccines she has had, but that is usually more expensive than getting a new shot. The appointment is in two parts so go there and talk to the doctor about it.

Agree with the above. When I had mine, even though I had thorough records of vaccinations from the UK, because the "date" field was smudged, they insisted I had the MMR and TdaP vaccines again. It was relatively inexpensive, though I did feel pretty crappy for a while afterwards.

Agreed,just wondering if they are not in English that would be a problem
