I am a little frustrated the whole process seems to go so smooth! I received my Tacking Number for my new Card and it said expected delivery is 4/16. But nothing came in the mail yesterday and also the tracking has not been updated since monday! What happens if USPS lost my card? will I have to pay for a new one since it isn't USCIS fault? Or what is going to happen? this is really annoying!

Have you contacted USPS about it? I would go down to your local postal unit with your tracking info see if they can help you. The people on the phone system/email system are HORRIBLE for help.

I thought the same thing had happened, and I read all the horror stories about having to pay $400 to get a replacement even though it wasn't our fault. But I called my local post office and asked them, and they called me the next day and said they had the card and it would be delivered that day. So don't worry  I think sometimes their tracking is just a little off

ya, cause a ruckus with usps, in person, with a printout of the tracking page.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Hey same thing is happened to us. It said estimated delivery date was yesterday and it didn't come in the mail yesterday. I am hoping it will be there today :) If not, I am going to call the Post office. If you live in an apartment, i would also check with the main office. Sometimes the post office leave priority mail stuff in the office.

Hey what does it say under the "Status of your item"? ours was just updated to Processed through USPS Sort Facility at our current city. So It means its at our locla post office, they just need to deliver it.

sort facility is a big processing center.

Usually - on 2 legs of the trip, it goes to a sort facility -

one close to the shipper

and

one close to the receiver.

If that sort facility listed is nearby to you, then the next transit point is the local usps office, then 'out for delivery' or something similar, meaning finally it got on the delivery van/truck.
