lol you thought that would not be an issue? it's best she gets it corrected now before its late otherwise they will say she lied on her birth certificate

just forget about that birth certificate go get a new one

Right. The foreign spouse's birth certificate is needed at the NVC stage of the process, AFTER the petition is approved. If there is an error on the certificate, get a new corrected one. If it is NOT an error (your spouse IS a male or had a sex change operation) that's a different story.

That said, I believe you if say no foul was intended. :thumbs:

In my experience here, some people need that kind of thing to get their undivided attention, so they'll listen to what you're saying. It worked. I'm here to help people be successful in their processes. I can only do that if they are listening carefully. It's so much less work I can get their attention the first time.
