It looks like your petition has expired and without a very good reason you will have to start over

alas, that's what it looks like.

Luckily, that's not the case.

Hopefully, OP was able to get it fixed today.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Don't be sad, atleast there is something changing. I understand it is an error but you know what good for you! because now you have something to hold against them. :) make your point that they are creating errors. Be more involved in your case. I'm sure inshAllah soon you will recieve good news. Continue to pray and keep your faith and imaan in Allah strong. Allah knows best and is merciful and kind. I will pray for you! don't worry just keep contacting them and stay on top of the case, follow their directions, see where you might have even slight weakness in your case and fix it. When in doubt have a professional take a look at it.

My husband's case has been in AP for about the same amount of time. However, he has been asked to update his medicals and criminal reports twice since being in AP. Maybe that is what was needed in your case? It sucks that we have had to pay 3 times for this process because of the long line for AP background checks.

Staying strong and patient in love and faith!

Can you give me the "visa hotline number"? Usually the embassy never picks up a call and if they do, they put you on hold.

My husband has been under AP since November 2011!! And they had asked for additional documents which we submitted. I also checked his visa status and it said "EXPIRING SOON" I check the visa status mostly every day or every other day. So when I read the same message I immediately replied to them and called them. They changed His case status to AP again. Our case has been running since April 2011.....
