Well it is another new week so let's see what happens with CSC this week. Maybe they will get moving on the I-129F's. (I say that every week so that i don't give up hope)

My kids have gone to their dad's now for a week and I am sat here alone. I can hardly see the computer for the tears. Please, please let us here something soon!

It's really hard..My life is stagnant for a moment..I graduated my Nursing degree last year, passed our local board exam but i did not start looking for a job here since i was thinking that NOA2 will arrive any minute..It's been a year now with my unproductive life..nothing to do but sit and wait until we received the RFE..

I-130 Submitted ---- 09/16/2011

NOA 1 ---- 09/21/2011

I-130 Approved ------ 04/30/2013

NVC Case Number -- 05/14/2013

Medical Exam ------ 05/28/2013

Case Complete ------- 08/06/2013

Interview -------- 09/09/2013

Visa Arrived ---------- 10/17/2013

POE SFO ------------- 10/21/2013

Delays maybe inevitable, but misery is optional!

With Immigration reform taking center stage now, the best thing you can do is let your Congressperson know that DACA applicants are given priority over US citizens in processing. Couple of benefits - Most Congresspersons don't know this and they will start to raise questions, and this is going to concern the executive branch's higher ups who need a bipartisan deal in Congress for their reform bill or else it won't pass. So they will be responsive. Secondly, there has been anecdotal evidence from certain people who have gotten approved from the CSC for a K-1 that USCIS approved their application shortly after they heard from their Congressman. My representative wrote me that they made an inquiry and we should hear in about two weeks (that was a week ago)so if it helps expedite I will be sure to post on here and let you know.

I feel you. I'm also a CSC late July filer.

Ranting can feel good, and sometimes you just need to vent to people who somewhat understand what is going on (unlike many family and friends who a simple, "Why haven't you heard anything?" turns into a 20 minute discussion about the process with their eyes glazing over). At times it is the only thing we can do to try and stay sane when faced with the uncertainty that lies ahead, though some people on here don't seem to understand that. (And it definitely doesn't help when people who were approved A LOT faster tell you to "just be patient" or to "use the time productively." It is easy to tell someone else that when they are not in the same situation, and it is rather condescending to assume that we are not already being proactive and doing what we can to prepare for the day we do receive our NOA2.)

Hopefully we here some good news soon!

It's called lobbying power. K-1 people are by definition a temporary group. Once we are out of it, we are not likely to be concerned with the question of processing times again. Meanwhile there are so many undocumented workers and this is their Number 1 concern for years and will continue to be for years, that they have activist groups, who lobby Obama, whose people cut the deals that they cut. There are no activist groups for US citizens marrying foreigners unless you consider mail order bride match maker services, and they are not exactly full of political clout. The only time they get on television is when Dateline runs a special on what an exploitive practice it is to outrage their suburban female viewers that their husbands/sons/brothers are really looking for submissive foreigners to take their place. That was my rant.

Yes its a new week and I hope with all my heart and soul these things start moving. When you start looking at your credit card to make trips because you miss someone and knowing that it could now be min a year to be reunited it surely makes me want to spend.

I was just looking on the USCIS website at case numbers around my own. After looking at over 400 I only found 4 I-129f's. What I did find was a lot of i-130's and they have been worked on. The website processing date for those is July 5th so my guess is they have been prioritizing those since December/january. Sadly, looks like we are still waiting :(

Yes we pray. Yes we trust God. But we act!!! I will not sit and wait quietly for the injustice CSC gives towards us I-129F filers. There is several topics and resouces including template letters to the director and congress or senator that you can use there is also a comprehensive analysis giving by the visajourney member I & B that we can use when sending the director of CSC letters, contacting all the congressman and women in your area and state, and contacting media and news sources. God gave us tools to act and we should use them. We should not sit patiently and quietly and depend upon the good nature of CSC management or accept our unacceptable waiting times!

I just want to rant because Hey! there's nothing to do now but to rant and rant and rant. Oh, some people told me "Be patient.. God's time is perfect. Hang in there." Honestly, it starts to get old. I can not be patient about it, I can not be happy about it. I just can't!

This is why I rant :

1. It makes me feel better, even as I know the next second I stop ranting, I will feel so frustrated again anyways.

2. I have every right to RANT. I paid $340 just to wait for 8 months and two days for...let's see... UNCERTAINTY.

3. I am angry because I have followed the rules. Abiding the law. Be a good -citizen to be-. But they just pushed me aside to allow the DACA applicants to have their golden tickets.

4. My fiance tried to call. At the first attempt, CSC just basically told him "When it's your turn, it's your turn. :|" After the third call in the span of three months, they'd just give him cold answers and sounds like robots. It may be better to hire a robot. They don't need to pee so that even as the toilet is clogged, they can still approving petitions. :|

5. All my plans for the future is on hold. Should I resign from the job now? Should I renew my license? Should I continue my insurance? But no, they don't give a damn about it. "When it's your turn, it's your turn."

6. It's excruciating to be apart from your loved one. And having arguments because some people decide to ignore our petition is just.. ******

7. I feel sorry for all those illegal imigrants parents. Your life was miserable at your country origin. I get it. You need to illegally crossed to US for you life. It is the government that I will say "Shame on you!" because you put them ahead all of the people who has done the right thing, as they want you to do. But still get delayed for the DACA petitions as well.

There you go. I rant. If anyone want to add to my list, you are very most welcome. :crying:

AMEN!!!!
