Nope, it's just a receipt saying it's in the queue. They are now processing e-mails from April 3. You will receive notification when everything's ready to go.

I'm a dual US/Hungarian citizen (both by birth; Hungarian citizenship verification TBA), and my husband is a dual British/Irish citizen (by treaty) from Northern Ireland. We are atheists.

All advice is given pursuant to the Disclaimer that you may read at the bottom of each forum page.

LATEST STEPS:

28 Jun 2013: POE Houston

08 Jul 2013: SSN received (at SSA office)

07 Aug 2013: Green Card received

27 Feb 2014: Whoa, life happened. Planning move "back home" together to Republic of Ireland by end of April.

29 Apr 2014: POE Dublin through Heathrow

15 May 2014: Received formal residency/work permission (GNIB card with Stamp 4, one year renewable) for the ROI

AHHHHHH My heart stopped when I got an email from NVC thinking it was a case complete but NO! I got a RFE!!!! Our I864A filled out by my MIL was done incorrectly for the last part of her forms and just wanted to die upon getting that checklist. They want some paystubs for my hubby as well but he works in Canada with me, therefore no US income. I spoke with an operator at NVC and she mentioned that I should include a letter stating that the paystubs included are from his Canadian employer and that he will be searching for employment upon moving to Florida with me. Does that letter sound like a good idea to anyone?

I emailed DS3032 on April 16. As you said they are now processing emails from April 3, it's going to take max. 2 weeks for mine to get approved!!?? I am in F2A visa category. Will there be different treatment for F2A and CR1/IR1?

No, I'm saying you should expect a minimum of 2 weeks for your DS-3032 to be processed, and be happy if it takes less than that. My husband sent our e-mail on the 8th and we have not yet been processed.

Thanks Saylin! I just called NVC. And he told me that NVC doesn't need the Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) and that my husband would need to take the PCC with him at the time of his interview. I asked him again to make sure and that's what he said. I asked him if he would send the original back, and he said that the husband can just take a copy of the PCC with him to the interview. Is this correct? Any feedback would be appreciated.

The PCC will be sent with the other documents to the embassy after an interview date is assigned, so the embassy will have it for the interview.

Hey I just tried to open it again and now it gives me good one. I tried in Firefox as well as IE. In both, it's working fine. It looks like it was NVC receipt page problem. Thank you guys for ur efforts and suggestions.

Glad it's finally working!

...... Their reply.... Call back at the end of April or the first week of May

Definitely don't listen no0pb.gif Call back again tomorrow!

Today I received a checklist from the NVC for my IV fee.

I am waiting to pay this as I accepted a new job and between moving and delay of my first paycheck, I am low on funds.

Is this normal? Should I contact the NVC?

I'm betting they reviewed and accepted your AOS package! Call up asap to confirm. They're still open for another 30 minutes!

Can anyone in Nigeria forum tell me when you were notified with interview date. Was it first then in the morning, on any particular date and time?...I've been constantly looking @ my phone for email notification.I am really loosing my mind.girlwerewolf2xn.gif

The interview can be assigned any time between 7am to midnight while they're open! If you're waiting on an email notification though, you can receive this at any time (24 hours a day) and any day of the week since emails are delayed. My interview was scheduled on a Friday yet I only received notification around 6am on Saturday.

Saylin, got a checklist for photos?

Got a checklist for my kid’s photos and her case is complete.

They want you to bring the originals to the interview.

Is it an auto-response? Can you post the email here so we can read it?

Saylin, got a checklist for photos?

Completely normal! Don't worry about it no0pb.gif It seems like those doing EP get this "checklist". It's just a reminder to bring passports photos to the interview.

If the petitioner is living in Canada with you, he's going to need to prove US domicile. This is a huge thing for Canada. It may not be needed for the AOS package right away, but it definitely needs to be gathered for the interview. For DS-3032s, no preferential treatment for visa categories.

It could be any day now for the case number to be assigned. Keep calling once a day, maybe even twice a day.

You can't send the DS-3032 unless you have a case number.

I suggest you read the first two posts as you're missing valuable information.

That makes sense and clears up the confusion. I was just wondering why they had sent me a checklist for the PCC though. I'll just have to wait for a case complete and see what happens! Thank you so much! :)

Yeah, not too sure about the PCC, if you sent it. But, if they say the IV package is accepted, that's good news. As far as I know, they do another review after both packages have been accepted, and then close the case. Let's hope the PCC passes the test a second time and they close the case.

You get a star_smile.gif for sending the domicile stuff.

Then, I'd suggest sending a letter like the operator suggested, mentioning how your husband is currently living in Canada with you and only has a Canadian job. Mention you included CANADIAN pay stubs (and you may want to send some more again, starting that in the letter). Does he have a job lined up yet in the US? If he does, include the acceptance letter, or something else proving he has a job once he moves back to the US.
