K1 Visa- Interview in Jamaica- petitioner's presence?

I was just wondering if anyone knows whether the applicant should be present @ the interview along with the beneficiary? If I fly to Jamaica, will I be able to attend the interview or will I have to wait outside?

I am just trying to plan ahead.

im not sure if being there makes a difference, beneficiaries are getting approved whether we are there or not...

It can certainly never hurt to attend the interview. Additionally if the interviewing officer has any doubts at all about your relationship it can help lead to an approval.

I plan on attending the interview for that very reason.....

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Read the reviews for our consulate, it will answer a lot of your questions.
