We got NOA1 on August 8 from VSC and have yet to hear anything from them, not even an RFE. I contacted a senator and he said he would check the case, but that was about a week and a half ago now. Are there any other steps I can take to help it move along? Calling USCIS has proved useless repeatedly because they seem stuck on reviewing July 2 cases, as they have been for months now. Visa journey is reporting cases from the end of September going through pretty regularly nowadays, and the helpless feeling is driving me nuts. Any advice, or is waiting exponentially still the name of the game?

Hanging in there, hopefully they will get to your file soon. A lot of August filer has been approved lately. So, relax your mind and hope for the best.

A word of advice is to not even think about the day that USCIS says they are working on because it is all hot air to get you off the phone. There is not much that can be done through this difficult process to make things any easier. All i can say is to keep busy and not think about it and the more that you are on here the more it is going to fluster you seeing others get approved.

Waiting is waiting, no matter the number or degree of qualifiers or superlatives. Like others have said, your time will come, hopefully soon. Doing this :clock: , can drive a sane person crazy.

This whole process is a continual lesson in patience. We have gotten the same lessons, only a little further down the visa path.

Hang in there.
